A glimmer of betrayal changes my mind
The odds against your favor
Forever

No... Why is this happening?
You are seeing many things that shouldn't be there. Strange creatures with red eyes rabidly trembling, staring straight at you. Flowery tendrils that wrap around the creatures and Henry and [S/N]. The corners of your vision were filled with what you could best describe as static from a radio incorporated into your sight. Many other apparitions fill the space, strange and familiar at the same time.
It's gotten worse. Way worse.
"I- I'm sorry, I need to excuse myself," you say, pushing your chair away from the table and running up to your room. You don't look back at how Henry and your sister react, but you hear Esther quizzically ask "Auntie...?"
You need an escape. Another escape. You need someone to tell you what to do, someone to give you a hint.
You just need to dream.

You call out. No response. That's natural, since you can't even hear yourself.
You're in the place of a thousand mirrors again. The shards no longer fill the whole space. There's room between each of them, so you see all the doors beyond the cracked pieces of reflection. There's no way to get to them. You're sitting on a particularly large piece, but it already seems precarious. If you try to get up, you'll fall, and fall, and fall, and fall into the void.
You look down at the glass you're sitting on. Instead of seeing yourself, you see a silhouette in a monochrome dress... You feel like you've seen this person before.
They speak first. "You're putting yourself in a risky situation. You might slide off this shard at any moment."
You open your mouth to speak, but once again, nothing comes out.
"I am your voice," they state. Their voice is refracted as they say this, bouncing off every reflective surface, echoing all around you. "I've already said this. I'm you. I'm [Y/N]."
You nod and they nod in sync.
"You want help. As always, you can help yourself. You, with your curiosity, can figure out a solution to this new problem. But I understand - that's hard. So, I can give you a hint. It's not cheating if I'm you."
You mouth 'What is the hint?'
"Do not trust Christopher."
You furrow your brows. You know that already.
"I know, I know. You're aware. But you'll end up lapsing over to him if I don't prevent it... I need to try."
You inaudibly exhale and nod.
"Try searching for others who deal with these other worlds. There's one who you're relatively close to. Just call her."
An idea sparks in your head. You might know who they're hinting at...!
"That's almost enough for now," they, or you, conclude. "Good luck. Once you decide to wake up, you've probably slept off the worst of it, so you have some time. But I know myself. You'll want to explore."
