Chapter 13 : He Started It

The next I spent my whole day in my office. I had loads of work to do. On the other hand I had to interview people because I need workers for my new business. It was a long day plus this pregnancy is killing me. I went home later and immediately fell asleep. The next day I still did the same thing as yesterday. After a week of so much work I had my time off and I was relaxing on my rooftop when suddenly I saw Leos family cars park outside my yard. As I went downstairs I opened the gate. When I got downstairs I opened for them. We sat down and for while there was awkward silence. Leos dad looked at me with so much sadness and said "Moni I need you to be strong." I gave him a confused look and said "strong? For what?" he said "Leo has been found dead and thrown down the river. We got a anonymous call." I said "you lying he's still alive I promise." Leos mom said "Moni he really is." I know that playing pretend is wrong but I had to and on the other hand I know who's that anonymous caller. It's none other than Jordan. That man will do anything to make me sweat while he know damn well that we both covered up Leos murder. I think it's time I extirpate him. He crossed the wrong woman this time and I will make sure that it's a slow painful death. I'm not a murderer but he pushes me to be a certified one. Leos mother said "I hope you'll be okay with our decision because we going to bury him as a family and we excluding you because you not his wife." I said "it's okay plus attending a funeral while pregnant is kinda like bad luck." Leos dad said "We will stop being in contact with you and you excluded from everything that involves Leo. You free Moni. We finally found our son." I said "Okay." They all left and I took a very deep inhale and exhale, trust me that was a close move. The next day I felt good so I put on my black valvet dress, red bottom heels, fixed my hair, glossed my lips and made a feast. I called Jordan to come and dress up he agreed. I waited for about an hour until he arrived. When he got in he was surprised and he said "you look sexy baby." I smiled and said "thank you." He kissed me on my lips and said "I see you finally made up your mind." I said "well pregnancy can be a lot to deal with. Do you want a drink?" he said "yes please." I poured him a drink and we sat on the dinner table. We spoke about a lot of things and even laughed at some. Than I dished him food and he gave me the biggest smile. He said "how's my baby?" I said "the baby is fine and I can't wait to meet him." he said "it shows that you a queen among kings. You birth sons." I said "yeah and I raise real man." We ate and spoke about our baby's future and ours little did he know I poisoned his food. After 4 hours of drinking and eating he started to sweat and said "Moni I think I'm getting sick." I said "Let me drive you to the hospital." I drove his car to the place we buried Leo. I said "remember this place?" he said "yeah but what are we doing here I thought we were going to the hospital?" I said "yeah we will how do you feel like right now?" he said "I'm having troubles with my breathing." I said "that's how it feels to be betrayed huh?" he said "what do you mean?" I pulled my gun out and said "I know that you were the anonymous caller and that you'll do anything to get me back." he said "at least I haven't sold you out. I thought you'd be running back to me and crying." I said "you such a sick human being and I regret meeting you at this point. You a controller and a abuser." I got out of the car and opened his petrol tank I than took a small rope and put it in the petrol tank, rolled it out until I was at a safe distance and called Jordan. He picked up and said" where the fuck are you I can't feel my body now." I said" And I didn't feel my baby when you kicked my stomach. I thought you were a good guy. I thought I could trust you but no, you showed me how sick and crazy you are. I can't risk it." he said" what do you mean." I said" Rest in peace baby." I lighted my matchstick and burned the rope. As the fire was traveling the rope I did a short prayer for my sins than by the time I said "amen" his car exploded. I did the sign of the cross and walked away
