RHEA'S POV

It's a good thing that Kendra is with me throughout the day, comforting me and makes my day. As much as I want to get out of the embarrassment with Dave awhile back, I can't help it but to wonder how Dave changed so much. From his careless words to something worse. I barely eat my lunch just thinking about it.

"Dave is a complete jerk. I can't believe he grew with a foul mouth. I mean, he's a Billionaire's son and that attitude of his is not what I at least expected." Kendra remarked while sipping on her juice straw.

I nearly lost my appetite because of that unforgettable incident.

"Don't be so quiet. Walk with confidence, will you?" Kendra annoyingly stated and pulled me towards a clear hallway.

The hallway is not really that wide but vast enough for students to walk in. I thought we were alone together in that hallway but I heard arguments. Well, a lover's quarrel to be exact.

"So what's your relationship with her? She's your new now?" The girl asked in a very stubborn tone. I cannot see the man because some plants are covering the view.

"Geeze. There are still immature students out here. Let's leave." Kendra pulled me by my arm and moved. We stood frozen together all of a sudden when the man replied.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Christine? Rhea is not my girlfriend!" That booming voice. It's Dave's!

"Let's hide! Quick!" I whispered to Kendra and pulled her towards the plants on pots to hide while listening to their conversation. Well, I don't want Dave to caught us.

It's a good thing that Kendra participated on my coward action.

"The moment you arrived here, you were spotted in the campus, extremely entertaining that new girl, Rhea. Tell me, is she prettier than me?" That girl, Christine stated.

"Christine, I've been loyal to you ever since I courted you---" She cut Dave off.

"If it weren't for my friends in the campus who took pictures of you holding her awhile back, I wouldn't have known right now how much you're cheating behind my back." Christine stubbornly stated, making Dave sigh, annoyed.

"You know how I much I trust you in this relationship and I should expect the same from you in return Christine." Dave stated this time but in a tired tone.

What the hell girl! You have him all for yourself but you're not satisfied!

"You're such a liar Dave! You're a cheater!" Christine roared at his face. I wanted to get out from my hiding spot to slap that girl but Kendra stopped me.

"Don't interfere." Kendra whispered, calming me. I just can't believe this crime I'm putting myself on. "I can't believe Dave having this annoying nagger for a girlfriend."

"You're always accusing me of cheating---" Dave stopped talking after Christine slapped him across the face. The sound echoed in the hallway.

That girl! I'm really annoyed right now! I gripped my fist to stop myself from showing my glory to them.

"Because you're a cheater! A jerk, a backstabber---" Dave cut her this time with a frustrated reaction. I took time looking for a hole to see Dave's face. I'm not mistaken. His face face shows it all, the frustration, tired and ready to burst anytime. His left cheek is blushing after that slap. His nostrils are flare too.

"Ever since this relationship started, you'll always accuse me of cheating. Everytime a girl is with me, you get jealous without any reason. Are you sure that you really love me?" Dave asked, pointing his heart.

My heart as well is aching. How I wish he could tell me he loves me too. You're so lucky Christine.

"What do you want me to do? Sitting pretty while my boyfriend dates anyone he wants? Gosh, you're my boyfriend and you do what I say!" Christine this time pointed at him. Judging from Dave's breathing, Christine had crossed the line.

"This relationship won't work without trust, Christine. If you'll ever accuse me again of cheating, this relationship is over." Dave stated, calming himself. I can see how much control Dave is acting on right now.

That's for you Christine! You shouldn't have been a bitch in the first place.

The next scene made both of me and Kendra gasp in shock.

Christine splashed a bottle of water on Dave's white shirt and pushed him to the wall.

"Sure. Why not?" She stated and slapped him before walking away without turning back.

Oh my gosh! That was a horrible break-up I witnessed in my own eyes. Dave is standing there, holding his bruised cheek with his nose flaring. I'm still impressed on how he remain his cool while stretching his nape.

I slowly grabbed Kendra's hand to walk away. We can't have a newly broke up Dave see us like this. He might say something  annoying again.

"You can show yourself now, the two of you." Dave's voice stopped us from snicking out. Kendra gripped my hands as my heart continued to race.

"Y-You know?" I stupidly asked while showing myself to him.

His furious eyes awhile back came back to his signature facial reaction, the annoying face. As if he isn't hurt of the break up.

"I know when someone is listening. I can hear your whispers from those bushes. Do better next time so you won't get caught." He stated, walking away. "Keep it to yourself everything that you heard. I can't have people around lurking inside my private life."

"O-Okay?" I stuttered while watching him walking away. But then he paused and glanced at me.

"Is she your baby-sitter?" Dave asked, pointing at Kendra.

"You jerk! Get off our sight before I tangle you! Bastard!" Kendra insulted while pointing at him.

"You should babysit her properly so she won't get lost in the campus. It will refrain her from listening to someone's conversation." Dave stated and smiled annoyingly, walking away with pride.

I can't believe I got embarrassed again today. After their horrible break-up, he embarrassed me again.

Still then, this heart doesn't harden for him. It is still soft and beating for him.

"You should forget about that jerk. Let him mind his own business." Kendra comforted me, making me smile in calmness. "Anyways, our school fest will be celebrated next month. It's an event for talented and sporty students per department."

"I'm not interested." I replied weakly.

"Cheer up! Your beauty among male youngsters in the campus is a hit. Just be yourself and enjoy your college life!" She cheered, flattering my aching heart.

Dave, why are you looking for other women when I'm here begging you to love me too?
