Chapter Six

Vicky's Pov

By lunch i was officially a student at Glory high school. Being friends with dorcas was like being the most popular girl in school, did she not know a lot of people.
I was not surprised cause dorcas was really beautiful, with curled short hair that stoped by her neck and with a beautiful curved shape, with a shiny white skin that anybody could spend days watching and the most amazing thing about her was that even with all of what she had, she was really humble and nice with everyone and i guess that was why everyone liked her.

"So Vicky, where are you coming from?" Dennis asked

Vicky was thinking whether to tell them or not, but as much as she wanted to be honest about herself she just wasn't ready to disclose a lot about herself and where she came from, did disclose a lot about her.

"Dennis don't scare her off, let her breath!" Dorcas said after noticing the face Vicky had.

" I just wanted to know nothing more, did not mean to hurt you"

" It's ok dennis and by the way I was living in bangladesh before coming to Florida" Vicky says trying to sound cool

"Wow that's so cool; even if I don't know where that is".

Laughing " it's a very small but popular country when it comes to sewing or texture, i spend 9 years there"
" Then why did you come back?" Elijah asks with an intense voice

The bell rings*

"Well sorry Vicky catch you later"
"Bye girl" dennis says with a bright smile

Vicky release the air she didn't know she was holding, she was so glad the bell rang because she did not have an answer to that (for them) and by the way elijah was looking at her it was as if he was trying to figure her out and she can't let that happen.
Vicky spent the rest of the day without seeing her new friends. She was heading to the gate when her phone buzzed a message in:
" We are waiting for you at the front gate, be quick 😊
Dorcas".

How do did she get my number?

" Miss pickle, hold on" turning to see who was talking to her
" Yes"
" I will love you to give this to luna chamber, she left her note in the library and i guess she must be out there" the literature teacher said to Vicky
" Sure madam".
Well what a nice way to end my school day by meeting her; after the morning encounter with luna, they did not have a proper encounter since then and she was no where to be found which was really hard to believe or she is hiding from someone.

Asking about luna to the other students was like telling someone to kill themselves, all the student gave me weird look which i did not care about,
" Hey" Vicky created luna standing beside her
"What do you want ?" Luna asks in a bored tone
" Mrs call asked me to give you this textbook"
" Well thanks, bye"

Woah, what's wrong with her?

" Are you sure you ok?"
"Yeah I am, why?"
" No you just seem off "
" And why is th...."
Luna immediately hide behind my back as if she was hiding herself, well she was but from who?
" What's wrong?"
"Please Don't turn"
Vicky stood there like for three minutes and right after the person passes she just walks away without even saying a word but Vicky noticed someone by the gate.
"The new student!!!! Was she hiding from him?" Vicky asked

But it was so off, why will she be hiding from the a student that just joined school or else....

Bang!Bang!***( Students shouting)

" Bend down!" a voice told me
Well the action was  first done and later came the words.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah, but what is going on?
"Sheesh"
"Wals, we know you are in this school,  come let's deal off our issues and everyone will be safe" a small pitched voice talked

*Bang!*Bang!

" don't move!"

After some time the shooting stopped but Vicky realized she was holding onto the new guy
"Am so sorry" she says blushing
"For what?"
"For holding onto you like that, i was so sacred!"
" Yeah you did look scared, like you are going through the same scene again"
" Sorry"
" Don't worry, i am use to girls holding onto me more oftenly" Daniel says smirking

" All the students are requested to go home immediately and not hung around the parade" the principal's voice echoed through the school speakers

" Why were they behind you?"
"What?" Daniel asks with a wired expression on his face
" Wals* that's the short form of walter right?"
" Mind your own business!" Daniel says walking pass her.

"Wow, how can a person change from one personality to another but i get him, i will not want anyone to invade my privacy and asks questions anyhow but i can't help but be curious about him" Vicky says huffing

" Are you ok?" dorcas asks hugging Vicky
" Yeah thanks and you?" Vicky says through the hug almost choking
" Well bid me well cause am getting out of this place not to say school"
" Be glad that no one kicked the bucket" dennis says
" That's true!"
"Does this kind of thing happen more oftenly in the school?" Vicky asks
"Not really, everyone is kind of shocked right now cause this never happened in the school".

" Get in the bus, we will drop you to your house" said uncle jake

Uncle Jack is glory high school bus driver and Vicky's  nice friend.

" Thanks you for the ride" Vicky's says smiling to uncle Jack
" You are welcome,take good care of yourself"
" Sure".

"Omg Vicky!!! Where is your phone?"
Mrs. Potter welcomes me and by that I remembered that my phone's battery died, which i understand why they are all panicking.
" Am so sorry aunt and uncle, my phone's battery died and i was so caught up in the moment that I forget to inform you guys that I was fine"

" It's ok Vicky, we didn't mean to scold you , we were just worrying" Mr. Potter said

" And now that you are here that's all that matters" Mrs. Potter says smiling to Vicky.

What did i not meet them before???
