Last night was amazing, got me smiling since yesterday. I woke up with no nightmares but had a bad mood.

My alarm woke me up at 6:30am. Today was a day i really did not want to associate with. I had forgotten about it but Daniel reminded me.
For some people, they might be celebrating love,but to me, i am celebrating the start of my suffering

2 years ago***

Our distant family members came to visit us for Valentine. I was very annoyed, for the first time I was going out with Fyza to the cinema, that's when they had to come.

" Vicky, go and get ready, they must be around!". My lovely mom screamed up the stairs.

Dinner did go well, but that also led to me meeting my uncle.

Presently~~~

Sighing, i decided to go and get ready for the day. After my shower, i read my Bible...

The best verse to start a valentine day.

For the day, i decided to wear a light blue tank top with a black buggy jeans, with my nikes. I maybe added some mascara and did my eyebrows and put my hair in a bun.

Uncle and aunty had gifts for everyone in the house cause to them valentine was not just a day for couple but a day to spread love. I did not open my gift neither had breakfast, just headed towards school.

School was definitely a vibe as the whole place was singing Romance.  School Couples holding hands; friends handing small package of chocolate and cards expressing their love.

I had mathematics and literature till lunch. Later  the other guys invited Luna and I to Starbucks to have a small cheer up party. I didn't want to go but had to because of Luna.

" Have u heard about the upcoming party next week?" Luna asked me

"Nope" I answered.

Since the accident, parties were places I avoided, to not get mixed up. I was still thinking about Daniel, he hadn't been to school the entire week and to be honest I was worried.

" Thank you so much babe" a small cute voice said beside the lockers leading to the art room.

" You are welcome, anything for you"
" I hope I will be able to spend the day with you without that girl!" The voice spoke again but in a disliking manner.

" Definitely not, I already told you I have nothing to do with Vicky, she is just my sister's friend".

Normally I wouldn't care and would had walked to class without looking but the voice was too familiar. So I approached, just to see Daniel busy mushing his mouth into Mui's mouth.

I felt very awkward and nervously bad, so I walked away.
Mui is the headmistress daughter and one of the hottest girls in school but still had chicken brain to be fair enough. ( Money can't buy anything)

After my Art class, Uncle picked us up and I called mister guy to let him know I wasn't going to be at work for the night shift.
I had my snack, revised a little and up, got dressed for the outing.

Before, my dressing motto was simple but elegant. So I decided to try it at least for today.
I got a brown skirt with a grey back lace shirt and floppy sandals, then braided my hair into two; applying baby hair and a light makeup.

I was very happy about my look of the night, just as I was done, Vicky rang at the door and we left.

The place was very good, comfy and had positive; flowery atmosphere. The tables were decorated with pink and red napkins. The door and chair were filled with flowers.
The night was going well, James came with a black skin girl; very beautiful, Dennis came with grace, a girl from chem class, they were so cute to be honest. The rest of us were alone.

" Hello, here!" Daniel pulls a chair and sits down with the same Mui standing to close for liking wearing a very small dress.

" Heyyy, didn't think you will make it" Dennis asked

" Did you invite him?" Vicky asked
" Yes, he is my friend and I wanted to introduce him to you guys" Dennis said smiling.

For some reason, Daniel was staring at me and not his partner, it was uncomfortable but couldn't say anything.

After eating our meal, we decided to go for a walk to the near park. It was around 7 pm. The guys later suggested we play truth or dare while walking. Of course I didn't want to play but the love of your friends make you do stuffs.

Everyone played and had their turn, Luna sang 'Diamonds' of Rihanna, Dennis had to profound his love for grace as a dare and Elijah though the calmest, did a break danse. Now was Mui's  turn and she was asked to kiss one of the guys on the cheek but she ended kissing Daniel on his lips.

" Did you enjoy the night?" Elijah asks me
"Yah, thanks and you?"
"Same, actually..." He shifts in his position.
" Am sorry for being a jerk to you on the first day, am just looking after my friends, so that they don't get hurt like the first time".
" I get it, it's ok" I answer smiling.

" But, to just be noisy, which first time are you talking about?"

" Not everything is bed of roses, but am sorry, I can't disclose it to you, I hope you understand".

" Yeh definitely, it's cool, hope we become friends". I told him smiling

"Looking forward to it" he answered giving me a side hug.

Just as he finishes hugging me , I notice Daniel looking at me but removes his eyes immediately.

Luna and I wanted to go home by ourselves but the guys insisted on dropping us. They later dropped us home, giving us small bracelet as Valentine gifts. 

Who would had thought that my valentine would had been this different.
Sometimes letting others give you their best is also a good thing.
