As Time Pass

chapter twelve

~After few weeks~

Things were going gracefully. My dreams had stopped and I had friends who were ready and willing to be my support of all times.

Since the valentin day, things were going nicely. My work at the café was extremely tiring but so worth it.

*Tuesday*

I was meant to wake up by 8:30 but woke up earlier than expected. So I decided to go for a walk, making sure I was enough silent.

"What should we do about it?" Mr. Chamber asked wispering.

"Nothing! It's nothing, it's better we don't talk about it and allow it to be lowkey". Mrs. Chamber also answered in a small voice.

I was curious but decided to let it pass since curiousity killed the cat and I didn't want to be the cat.
I took the back door and walked straight to the park.

My playlist had changed, I did not even realize when I started listening to slow but melodious songs.

while I was walking down the alley of the park, the light wind blowing and the slow song  piercing my soul, I unconsiously started singing to the song.
Then all of a sudden, a touch on my elbow made me stubble my front steps and boom! Unto the ground I fell.

" Ouch, ehhh!" I wiped

"Awnnn, you look so much good with the puppy face !" a voice above my head said.

lifting my head up " Actually, how nice of you to mock a person on the ground!" I said  with a scarstic smile.

He gave me his hand so i could stand up.

"It's funny how everytime we meet, we bring trouble to each other". He said.

" yeah right, mr. Daniel, as if I was the one always stalking!".

"You wish, I would stalk you" he said taking a step forward me.

" of course not!, I know you are busy with your girlfriend or sidechick, whatever but Mui!!! Seriously, I thought you had better taste". I responded.

He sighed," she is not my type nor any of what you stated but just a mere person. But how ironical of you to be speaking of her when you just saw us together  twice?."

I roll my eyes and step back.

"You should admit it gives you chills to see her with me and not you". He said smirking.

" It's fine if you want to be with a person like her". I said

Approching me , he said in a husky voice " at least she is not boring and does not pretend to be who shes not and mostly, she does not judge!".

He did not even allow me to respond and He ran away.

Like always, He left me with another word or sentence that even doctors can't heal.

The week passed off, and we were all seating in the caffé of our school when Mui with her friends enter the cantine.

Everytime Mui enters a place, everyone stops and stares. Its just like time stops  and moments flow.
So thats what exactly happened. Usually she goes to her corner table but today she walked straight to the center and stopped at our table.
 
Now that she was much closer, I took my time to observe and notice everty details on which all people want to smash.

She had round boobs and a nose piercing making her look a little hood type and the dressing of standard selection not forgetting her mixture of white and asian complexion.

Soon I was hit under the table

"Allow babygirl to look! Its free and do tell me if you ever need a makeover" she said giggling with her puppets.
( yes, i call them puppets, cause who follows a person around if not puppets)

"Thanks, she don't need a makeover, she is just fine." Elijah answers.

"Fine, I am not here to stay long, I am just here to invite you to my birthday party , which will take place on saturday, 6pm till when you feel bored enough to leave". said Mui

" thanks for letting us know, we will see if we will come".

"Ok sure, bye babies!" she left

I can't believe Luna just said "see if we will come" which definitely means we are going and by 6 pm sharp.

~Saturday~

Even after all the convincing, I was not to hide away from Luna.
She made uncle and aunt even chase me out of the house to be with her at the party.
So there I was,  in Luna's car heading to the party.
I mostly had my reasons I did not want to be at any party but only my brain knows the reason why I agreed to come.

The house was gigantic, plenty cars were  parked out infront of the house. Outfits of every designer and girls of all shapes were walking in and out.
The scene instantly made me remember my life before my tragedy.
The exterior was splendid but the inside was smelling alcohol even to the tinyest insects of the house.

Everyone was busy doing some or the other. But we decided to remain close to not get lost among those raging teenagers. Time hit fast and within seconds,

Luna waved us her good bye and off she went.

Everyone was despersed everywhere doing their own things.

But i remained with Elijah.

" Damn all of this to have headache tommorow"

" For sure, they don't know all this can't do them well but just harm and pain". I answered absent mindedly.

"You seem to know alot of this parties but have never seen you  attend any".

" Guy, like you said, everyone has a past so just take this irony of my life like that". I said smiling to him.

Just next to us, were arguments from a couple.

"Normal shit everytime, it must be him wanting to sleep with her and her not being ready". Elijah said siping on his cup.

While others were talking , something caught my attention and i rushed to it not realizing his eyes were on me the whole time.
