Emliys pov :

Its been a month since I found out I have been pregnant. Alex has been taking care of me like a baby .He doesn't let me leave the house  or do any sort of work .Their is a doctor who comes everyday to check on me and the baby .

Seeing all this I have started to feel guilty ,I have become a burden on Alex even though he doesn't say anything and I know he doesn't mind it at all .But  I have a problem .I have never been dependent on anyone for anything ,Since my parents died I have taken care of everything and been independent and in control of my life and I want to keep it that way .

I knew ,I could not work since I was pregnant and I knew Alex would never let me even leave the house ,now that he knows I am pregnant and all the things that happened to me .He believe I am still emotionally weak .

I wanted to prove him wrong .When Alex was not home .I would think and research about the things I could do and one day I came across an application from Harvard university about the masters program  offered  by them.

It was click .I had always wanted to complete my master's in literature and I am sure I could convince Alex on this as he can not deny me this .

When Alex would leave the house for work .I would then lock myself in the room and would work on my essays ,bio and all the other things required to get into Harvard .Everything would be perfect .I know Harvard gives a 2 month summer vacation for all its students cause The summers are extreme here in morocco .Yup Alex brought me here ,because he had just bought a new company here and he wanted to work on expanding it . and my delivery date would be around that time ,so it won't be a problem at all .Also for masters program it was only 5 hrs of class everyday ,so I could mange that .

After 3 weeks to anticipation ,I finally had my interview and I made sure it would happen around the time when Alex was at work ,Cause I knew he would stop me saying it would be too stressful and all that ,but I was way to determined .

On the interview day ,I had ordered some formal attire cloths .I warned the maids that I am going to sleep and not to disturb me ,Cause you know if the maids come to know the typically Alex also come's to know .

I did the interview and according to me it went pretty well .I was able to answer all their questions properly and confidently .Just as I had expected all the questions where on standard books like romeo-juilet ,great expectations ,little women etc and I was already well versed in these books .they informed me that the results would be  informed a week later .

Today was the day ,The results was going to come out at 12 o clock .I was trilled and scared .I went to take a long bath to relax myself .As I came out it was 11:50 already .So immediately got dressed and opened my laptop .

I filled in my log in details and closed my eyes .I was too scared to check on my results .I took many breaths in and opened my eyes ,I immediately screamed after seeing my results ,I actually made it into Harvard one of the ivy league colleges .I could believe it .

Alexs pov :

I came home today for lunch as I wanted to spend more time with Emily ,Also according to my maids Emliy has been acting weird .If often closes her door saying she is going to sleep .but apparently the can hear the sounds of the keyboard .Also they heard Emily speaking to someone  .So I wanted to confront her if everything was alright .

But inside I was scared ,was she talking and texting Drake .Had she forgiven him ,was he coming here to take her back .Damm it ,I regret giving Emily her laptop and phone .

As I entered the house ,I heard Emliy scream .I ran to here bedroom .As soon as he saw me .she immediately hugged me tightly .she had a huge smile on her face .I did not know what was happening ,but this was after soo long that Emliy had smiled and I was soo happy to see it .I hugged her back tightly .

After a few sec ,She realized what she did and immediately went back ,by saying  a silent sorry .I immediately missed her warmth .

"Well what's the news ,You seem soo happy today ."

"Ok ,I will tell you ,but you promise not to get mad and try to understand the situation .

I immediately stiffed when she said that ,I was scared and negative thoughts started to run through my mind ,Had she really got back with Drake ,was this why she was so happy .

"Alex ,Promise ",She potted cutely .

I slowly nodded my head not knowing what to say .

She passed me her laptop ,I immediately took it from her to see what it was .I was an acceptance letter from Harvard .wait what !!

I gave her a confused look ,

"Ok ,let me explain it to you .I was going trough my laptop and I saw the advertisement for Harvard's masters program and I thought it would be a great idea to apply for it ,as I anyways wanted to finish my masters in literature and this would be a great opportunity .So I had applied for it and was working on my interview and everything and I got in "

I was very happy listening to this ,so she was working this the past weeks ,I was relieved .I immediately went and hugged her ,"congratulations my baby .I knew you very a smart baby .but you don't need to do this you should rest and take care of your self and the baby .college will be too stressful for you ."

No Alex ,I will get bored sitting in this house and doing nothing all day .plus you can't keep me here forever .please let me go .I have it all planned out .The classes are only 5 hrs everyday and they give 2 months summer holidays that's when my delivery is .so everything will be fine .please pretty please .

"No ,Emliy ,sorry .plus there are boys in college .so no way that's happening ."

"What ,whyyy .You can't keep me here .I am not your property or worker that you can control."

"sorry ,but still no ."

"Ahh ,I hate you ." and she slammed the door at me .
