She's Back

To clear something the doctor who asked Tejo to go to the program also went there to help out and be a part of it. He will not be paired with Tejo as his much older and married with a daughter who was older then Tejo and she was married with a child of her own.

His name will be Anuj Ahluwalia
His daughter passed away who was named Anjali and her husband who also passed away was name Anand. They daughters name is Zara. She was six months when her husband passed and Anuj took her in.
She grew up in front of Tejo's eyes into a beautiful four year old and Anuj asked Tejo if she would take care of Zara if anything were to happen to him and his wife. They were older and needed someone to care for Zara.
Tejo agreed as Zara was born a year after she arrived to the USA and this family truly loved her as their own. She loved being around Zara and all her sadness of being away from her family was gone when she was around Zara.

Tejo was a great student and graduated early from med school and finished her residency. The doctor's in the program were impressed by her and offered her a position with them. They even helped her get a green card and apply for citizenship of the United States.

She was in touch with her family and told them about her program, but it wasn't until Zara was three did Tejo tell anyone about Zara. She had adopted Zara when the Ahluwalia's saw how much both Tejo and Zara loved each other. They knew both needed each other and Zara kept asking Tejo if she could be her mother. Tejo, did not want to over step, but Mrs. Ahluwalia (Geeta) told her they Zara needed a mother and Tejo needed a person who loved her unconditionally and when she seeing Zara she seeing the love she has for Tejo. That like Zara Tejo loved Zara unconditionally. She told her mother that she had adopted Zara while with the Ahluwalia's. They explained that both girl's loved each other unconditionally. Even then Satti was a bit worried, but then she saw Zara yell mommy running towards her. She got into her lap and kissed her cheek and then buried her face into the crook of Tejo's neck feeling safe in her mother's arms. Tejo had a huge smile as she felt her daughter's kiss on her cheek and she closed her eyes wrapping her arms around her as she buried her face into her neck. Seeing this Satti saw Tejo was happy and more then happy she was loved. That the little girl in her daughters arms made Tejo feel loved. She was able to accept Zara as her granddaughter and told her family who like her was nervous hearing this, but after telling them what she saw they were happy that Tejo had someone who truly loves her unconditionally.

She was in touch with the Virk's also, except Fateh and Jasmine who no one called Tejo in front of as they did not want Tejo to be uncomfortable. The thing was none of them asked about her nor did Tejo about them, but the reality was none of them knew how to ask. They felt guilty and didn't know how to face Tejo. However, they would listen when they spoke about Tejo. The Virk's did not talk about Zara that much, but were happy Tejo had the girl and were happy she was loved unconditionally. However, because they never spoke about Zara Fateh and Jasmine did not know about her.

In the five years Fateh and Jasmine's relationship also changed. Fateh told her about what happened with their visa and Jasmine's dream broke. She locked herself inside her room and wouldn't come out for two days. When she did come out she stopped talking with Fateh. It wasn't like Fateh tried taking with her anyways. Like any relationship, when there is no communication the relationship breaks. Days turned into weeks and months. It had been a year that they bearly spoke with each other. However, neither asked for a divorce as they made their own bed and they had to lay in it. Upon, the completion of their marriage Jasmine was diagnosed with endometriosis and wasn't able to have children (yes one can have a child upon having endometriosis, but it's harder and I m going to make it so she cannot have any). This added to another blow to both. Jasmine took this as a sign that she worried Tejo and it was her punishment that she couldn't have children. Fateh also took it the same way, but he also took the punishment as being away from Tejo the most. He really did not care for a child with Jasmine, but after speaking with his mother who told him to have a child of his own to improve his relationship he thought to give it a shot. He did not want his family to worry about his and Jasmine's relationship as is they went through a lot because of them. However, after what the doctors said he wasn't as upset as Jasmine. He was a bit relieved. He did however, start to talk with Jasmine as he did not want Tejo to get upset if she very found out that Fateh and Jasmine have not spoken to each other properly in an year. That, Tejo wanted him and Jasmine to actually be happy and gave up a lot for them. He promised that if not as a husband and best friend for the sake of them ever being best friend's for Tejo he would be there for Jasmine. He told Jasmine he was sorry with his behavior and it wasn't all her fault. She said that she understood that their relationship needed communication and that they weren't able to give that to each other. She told him that more then him she missed her big sister. That if she could go back she would never be with him. He was hurt, but he also felt the same. Fateh told her, that he may not be able to love her like she wanted, but he would be there as someone she could talk with. Like that they did share with each other somethings, but mainly it was about how much they wanted Tejo. Somehow there biggest companion had become those bengals of Tejo's. Whenever, sad they would take them out and talk with them. Somehow, they would get upset thinking that when Tejo came they would have to give them back and that if Tejo went somewhere that the bengals would go with her and they truly will have no one or nothing to talk with.

With the help of her senior's and hospital staff Tejo was able to apply for her family to come to the USA and live with her. She decided the best thing to do was go to India and bring them back with her. She would be able to introduce them to Zara and Zara to India.
She took a flight to India as a surprise.
Hearing the doorbell Abhiraaj opened the door. He was able to scream when Tejo put her hand on his mouth and a finger on her lips telling him to not scream. She hugged him and he told her that everyone was eating. Taking Zara's hand she followed Abhi to where her family was having their morning chai and meal. They were busy talk with each other that they didn't notice Tejo smiling looking at them. Her family was happy and that was all she wanted. Abhi cleared his throat for everyone to look at him. When, they did he move aside for them to see Tejo standing behind him holding Zara's hand. They got off their chairs and ran towards them. Taking his daughter into his arm Rupy let out happy tears. Satti also crying hugged her daughter and complained how much weight she lost and how she knew that she wouldn't eat proper food. She then got a hug from her grandmother who also complained about how much weight Tejo lost followed by her aunt and uncle and then her brothers crashed her in between them. Abhi complained that they were having a sibling moment without him and he wasn't happy. They laughed and pulled away. That was when Satti saw Zara and went up to her. She kneeled in front of her and said welcome home Zara. Looking at her mother who smiled at smile, Zara turned to Satti and gave her a hug. Hugging her Satti felt good. She felt like Zara belonged and if she had any fears of Tejo adopting Zara they were gone. Zara was then, introduced to everyone. They all sat at the table and Satti filled Tejo and Zara's plates, to which both complained, to which Satti said that their complaints would work. She was a mother and it was her job to feed her children and grandchildren. She told Tejo that she must have starved herself and Zara. Tejo denied that, but it was a mother thing and every mother thinks her child doesn't eat properly. She does the same with Zara. After having their meals they all set and talked catching up. She told them about how she was able to get visas for all of them and that she wanted them to all go back with her. They were happy hearing this and excited for it. Tejo called Khushbeer as she always called him. She was talking with him when Mahi came down the stairs talking to Abhiraaj (they had been dating and are set to get married) when Khushbeer's phone dropped and the speaker went on. Like that a car horned and Mahi's eyes widened hearing the same sound and again the same happened. She asked her father each Sandhu he was speaking with, to which he said his daughter Tejo. She was shocked and then screamed Tejo Didi your here in India in Moga. Khushbeer was shocked hearing this and questioned Mahi. She said she heard the same horn twice both in her phone and Khushbeer's. He took his phone and asked Tejo if she was there. She said that she was indeed in Moga and how she arrived a few hours ago and surprised her family. He said that she had to come home. Tejo said, she didn't want to trouble anyone. He said a daughter is no trouble for her father and that she was coming and having dinner with them. He told her she could bring the Sandhu's if she wanted but he wasn't going to hear a no from her. She told him to hold on and told the Sandhu's who all denied as they all had plans. The only one who agreed to go was Abhiraaj who wanted to see Mahi (his a lover boy, but doesn't know with Tejo and Zara there that he will take a backseat, in getting Mahi's attention).

He spoke a bit more with Tejo and then hung up. Mahi asked him if Tejo would come to which he said that she would come along with Abhiraaj and her daughter Zara. Mahi in excitement screamed causing everyone to come out asking wat happened. She looked at Khushbeer who smiled and told everyone that Tejo was in Moga. That all got happy hearing this and got even more excitied hearing that she would be having dinner with them. When they found out she was having dinner with them beeji told the maid to make something good as her granddaughter was coming home after a while. To which, Gurpreet spoke and said not something good but all of Tejo's favorite foods should be made. Everyone was shocked hearing her say that as they haven't heard anything about Tejo from her since Tejo left. She saw everyone look at her and she said that she may have not asked about her, but she listened as Khushbeer and everyone spoke to Tejo. She knows that she graduated early and finished her residency and she knows about Zara. She said that was not there in Tejo's sadness and while Tejo was her daughter in law her wasn't able to love her like a daughter so she didn't have a right to be there when Tejo was happy. She told them she was proud of Tejo and everything she achieved, that she owes her a lot for keeping her family and children with her. She was thankful to her for bringing her children to her and saving her husband and the academy. She said if she could go back she would tell Tejo as a bahu that she was a daughter to her also. However, because she did not do it, she felt she should not be a part of her happiness. Everyone was happy hearing this. They all knew Gurpreet realized that Tejo was a diamond. Jasmine who heard this was happy that her sister was back and coming home. She also heard a name and had to ask. She spoke up and asked who was Zara. Everyone looked at her and Natasha who is Amrik's wife said Zara was Tejo's daughter. Natasha and Amrik had dated for a year and recently got married. Amrik spoke to her a lot about Tejo to her and also told Tejo about Natasha. Who he practiced his proposal on before doing it in front of Natasha. Even though they spoke on the phone Natasha was very fond of Tejo and was upset that she didn't go to their wedding. She was going to go and was going to surprise everyone and only Amrik and Natasha knew, but Zara had gotten sick and Tejo was not able to make it. Out of the Virk's Amrik and Natasha spoke to Zara the most. They would FaceTime her whenever they could. Jasmine was a bit hurt that someone who didn't know Tejo was able to talk with Tejo and know more about herself. She knew that she wronged Tejo, but she was her sister and she felt jealous of someone else bonding with her. However, she was more shocked to know that her sister had a baby. She asked when did Tejo have a baby and when did she get married. When Jasmine asked about Tejo's daughter and her marriage Fateh felt a stabbing feeling. Khushbeer said that Zara was four and Tejo adopted her. Fateh was a bit happier hearing Tejo had adopted a kid. Amrik said that Zara is so cute and that he sees how much she loves Tejo. He said that the love Zara has for Tejo is unconditionally and that's what he wanted for Tejo. Jasmine smiled hearing this as she wanted nothing more then for her sister to have that someone who would love her unconditionally like she did everyone.

They started to prepare Tejo's favorite dishes with Natasha telling them a few of Zara's favorite and Mahi a few of Abhiraaj's. Fateh and Jasmine both also told them a few of Tejo's favorite's as they were a little off with her favorites and they wanted Tejo to actually have her favorite. To their dismay Khushbeer said that he knows it is their house as well, but if they ever cared about Tejo they wouldn't go in front of her while she was there as he did not want her to feel uncomfortable. They were upset as Tejo was coming after so long and all they wanted was to say sorry. They know their sorry wasn't enough, but they needed to see her and be able to tell her they were sorry and how much her absences has taught them her value.

Tejo goes the Virk's with Zara who while playing with Amrik and Natasha runs into Fateh and Jasmine's room where they were sitting hearing Tejo with her family.
