                                   BETRAYED

I met you when I was first five,

Didn't know you just wanted to thrive.

I thought you really meant the goodness you did,

But never mind I was just stupid.

I kept helping and doing what you pleased,

While you betrayed.

You were the first person I told everything,

Now I feel worthless empty and nothing,

Could ever fill that void you made,

Cause you made a wound deeper than a blade.

But now I don't care,

Cause you made me stronger to bare,

You left me surprised and dismayed,

And more importantly you betrayed.

You taught me not to trust,

And to think twice before I rush.

That's how I like to see it,

Cause I like to believe you didn't mean any of that shit.
