chapter 3- What's happening to me?

🍕Baileys pov🍕

My Aunt and I were sitting in Dim Sum, waiting for Peter and Aunt May to show up.

Ever since finding that spider on my hand earlier i haven't been feeling to great. Even the sight of food makes me want to feel sick and that's saying something coming from me. My head is pounding and i keep having spells of dizziness now and then.

"I need some air" i told my Aunt. She just quietly mumbled a response as she studied the menu. I stood from my chair and slightly stumbled towards the door.

I made it outside and leaned my back against a cold brick wall with my eyes closed, trying to steady my vision.

"Bailey?" finally, Peters here.

I opened my eyes to be greated by a pair chocolate brown eyes.

"Hey nerd" i mumbled.

"Hey, Aunt May? You go in and sit with     Baileys Aunt. We wont be a sec" Peter explained to his Aunt.

"Okay, dont be too long" she replied with a smile before she made her way inside.

"What's going on?" Peter asked me, furrowing his eyebrows together.

"Not.. good" i mumble, "I was at Oscorp, sorting out some serums when Gwen showed up. Once she left there was a spider-"

"Wait, what do you mean spider?" Peter asked quickly as he cuts me off.

"Just take me home" i told peter before moving into his arms, leaning my head on his chest. He pulled me up and put one of my arms over his shoulder. We started to walk before he said...

"Wait, what about Liz and May?"

"Nevermind.. just go" i replied tiredly.

He continued to walk me back home. But instead of taking me to my place, he took me to his. He told it was so he could look after me. But as soon as he layed me on his bed, i passed out into a deep slumber.

I was in Oscorp.

But it wasnt the same Oscorp from earlier.

This Oscorp is different.

It's pitch black outside and i can hear alarms going off from every area in the building.

It was like last time during that night.

That night with the lizard.

I suddenly found myself in the storage cupboard with the Ganali device. I could hear him. Searching. Growling and grunting that he hasn't succeeded in the search for Ganali device yet. But i of all people knows that he does.

Out of nowhere, the giant lizard pops up infront of the storage door with a loud growl, and stares straight into my eyes.

I let out a high pitched scream as i, once again, grabbed a miniature flame thrower and shot fire towards him. Though he blocked this with his hand, not being fazed by the pain at all.

This made him mad so not only did he steal the Ganali Device... but he, of course, slashed three cuts across my chest.

🍕Peters pov🍕

I awoke quickly from my chair by a scream and a sort of zipping sound, followed by a thud.

Bailey was attached to the ceiling, on all fours looking down at me. Breathing hard as beads of sweat ran down her forehead, touching her chin.

I slowly stood from my chair, calmly talking to Bailey.

"Bailey... i need you to calm down, okay?" i said slowly.

In response she shook her head and continued to let out quick breaths, tears threatening to spill from her eyes. She was panicking. Before i could say anything, her eyes turned black for a split second and she seemed like she was in pain. As this flash of pain hit her she dropped from the ceiling and landed back onto my bed.

"Hey, listen to me. I know what's going on with you. I know. But i cant properly tell you and help you if you don't calm down, okay?" I tell her as I take step towards her. She pushed herself towards the wall behind her as she started to calm her breathing. She took one look over at me before breaking down. I swiftly walked over to her and pulled her off my bed into a tight hug.

After a couple of minutes she pulled away.

"What's happening to me?" she asked me shakily.

Then it happened again. Her eyes flashed black and then to her normal colour. As this happened she was once again she grimaced in pain.
