chapter 6- A smirking duo

Everything started as a blur. All i could see were light blured shapes.

All of a sudden my vision faded in and i found i seemed to be in a tower. Bits and pieces of debree were falling all around me as I felt a pull, something right around my waist.

I felt myself starting to fall in rapid speed as peter pushed himself off of where he was perched, racing his way towards me to catch me.

"Bailey!" I heard him shout before I awoke from nightmare.

I gasped awake and looked around, adjusting to my surroundings. I was still in peters room.

What the hell? i thought to myself.

Before i could think anymore, however, i heard the voice again.

It told me to find Spider-Man... and-

"What do you mean? Who's peter parker?" i asked Harry. Trying not to blow my cover.

"Oh dont play dumb with me. Gwen's already told me everything. Her research has come to be quite useful to my... situation" he explained with a smirk. He was walking around the desk he was previously sat on and made his way over to me.

My attention turned to Gwen, her smirk just the same as Harrys. I skip my mask off my face, revealing myself to the two.

"Why did you do this to her?" i asked Gwen, completely ignoring Hary. I wanted answers, and I wanted them now.

"Oh, you know why Parker" she simply said. My face turned to a face of confusion.

"Why are you being so vague about this. What did she ever do to you?!" i asked her, my voice slowly raising with every word i say.

"She stole you from me. That's what she did" she said with a grimace.

"Are you kidding me?! We barely even talked! Hell, we barely saw eachother and you're saying this!" i shouted at her, pushing past Harry and speed walking towards her.

"What did you do to her?!" i asked through gritted teeth.

"A favour" she smiled evilly towards me.

"Stop lying to me!" i shouted back, quickly becoming impatient.

She just stared at me, not uttering a single word.

"Tell me what you did!" i continued to shout at her, waiting for an answer.

"I created her, she now has a reason to live" she explained, confusing me further but finally glad we're getting somewhere.

"And what would that be?" i asked her, wanting more information.

"Why to kill Spider-Man of course" she says with an evil smirk.

"Why are you doing this? This isn't a game! This is dangerous stuff you are messing with!" i tell her, anger etched across my face.

"Like i said, she stole you from me. Now it's my turn to steal something from you" she explains, her eyes never leaving mine and her face still holding that smirk.

I turned around towards Harry, his smirk being that of a twin of hers.

I had to get out of here and check on Bailey.

I walked away from Gwen and passed Harry. As i did i knocked his shoulder, hearing him grunt.

"You're going to regret this" i growled as I slipped my mask back on.

Just as i stepped out of the elevator to the bottom floor, there was a power outage.

Ignoring the sudden phenomenon, I swiftly made my way out of Oscorp and towards my home.
