"Online polls show a sudden uptick in public sentiment in favor of the web crawler. Tonight, it would seem new york city owes him a debt of gratitude"
explains the news reporter on the tv in the corner of my office.

I didnt pay attention though, mind elsewhere. I was trying to figure out what this small object my father had left me does.

Having enough, i growled in frustration and threw it on the table. Only, this solved my problem.

As it landed on the table, a screen emitted from around it. Moving it around a huge line of files showed up. I clicked on the most interesting.

"Next generation military body armer. Features include enhanced mobility, battlefield injury repair, direct nervous system interface" explained a robotic voice. I just stared in awe.

I moved on through other files, finding one that said:

ØØDOUBLE ZERO PROJECT

"So the common household spider, unlike human cells, theirs contain the power to self-heal from severe infection, tissue damage, et cetera" explains the man, who i recognised to be Peters father, on the screen.

"We've used a radioactive isotope with compatible human dna-"

"Welcome to dr jallings, science investigator. Today we are going to be talking about electricity" shouts the man on the youtube video i was watching. I was fixing my web shooter and trying to make my webs to withstand the electricity so they don't break on my next encounter, if there shall be one.

"Batteries can withstand a lot of incoming charges! The more powerful the battery, the bigger the charge it can withstand!"

I linked my web shooter to a big battery and other sorts of electrical tools. Pressing down on my web shooter i shot it across my garage room.

I connected one crocodile peg to the power box and held the other in my hand. Sliding down a glass mask on the my face, i connected the peg to the charged web and instantly getting shocked. A few seconds later, the battery exploded and steamed.

"I'm gonna need a bigger battery..." i said to myself, my voice sounding rough from the lack of sleep.

Later, i had 10 batteries ducked taped to eachother and continued my experiment. However, i got the same outcome as last time with all 10 batteries exploding everywhere.

Trying this for the third time, i connected my web shooter to a huge battery back. Sliding down my huge goggle, i connected the peg once again. this time however, i got blasted to the other side of the room followed by the pag exploding and a line of fire breaking out on the web. Grabbing the fire extinguisher, i put it out.

🍕The next day🍕

I got woken up by my phone ringing.

I tried to sling it towards me but when i did i missed and had a pole coming at me instead. Groaning, i tried again. This time successful.

"Hello" i said in my rough morning voice.

"Hey Peter" i heard through my phone. it was Bailey.

"Bailey? Bailey where have you been?!" I rushed as i fell from the ceiling and onto the garage floor.

Ouch

"Nowhere. I- i've been nowhere i just, Pete i need help its-" she started but got cut off by someone shouting in the background.

"Hey! what did i say?! tell him what i told you to tell! nothing else" i heard the all too familiar voice of Harry shout.
