We're Not Alone

Chapter 3

We pull into the driveway of Paisley's house. I've missed this place. They have a massive front and backyard and 3 stories. The first story was under-ground. You can't go downstairs from outside, so you have to go into the garage to take the spiral staircase. From going down the staircase there's a long corridor. The first door on the right is a gaming room, this is quite probably my favourite room of the entire house. It contains arcade machines, a pool table, a foosball table, an air hockey table, pinball, a jukebox and a ping pong table. There is also a vending machine and lots of awesome beanbags and chairs.

The first door on the left is nothing special. It's only a laundry room, with a purple washing machine and a blue tumble dryer. The second door on the left is nothing special either. That's just a plain white bathroom with chrome fittings.

The second door on the right was joint third for my favourite room. It was the theater room. The main wall is lined from top to bottom, left to right with a giant flat screen. The other 3 walls are lined with shelves. Shelves filled with movies. Most of the floor is covered by sofas and armchairs. In one corner there's a popcorn machine and in the other a soda machine.

The last door right down the end is another of my favourites. The room we call the library. This room is pretty self explanatory. It is a room lined by bookshelves practically filled by books. There is also various beanbags and chairs scattered around, but this room is really quite empty compared to the others.

The next floor up is just a standard floor. There is the garage, a lounge, a kitchen, a toilet, a dining room, a bedroom, a foyer and a separate room for the stair case that leads to the garage.

The top floor is a really cool place. There's a master bedroom, with a walk-in-wardrobe and an en suite, 4 other bedrooms, two of which with walk-in-wardrobes, another bathroom, a workout room and a wrap around deck.

In the backyard there is a large, heated swimming pool, a spa and a garden with a small get away for Paisley.

I jumped out of the back of the land rover, hauled my 2 bags out of the boot and made my way to Paisley's bedroom to dump them. I have always loved Paisley's room. It's massive, and very basic. She has a corner bed with an over-load on cushions. There isn't really a lot more but what she does have makes her room look very full. She has a flat screen TV mounted on the wall, a large couch against the opposite wall and a corner desk with her iMac placed on top.

Naturally, I log onto her computer and go on YouTube. I click onto her subscriptions box and add all of the best videos onto watch later so we don't have to keep getting up to change the video. We link her computer screen to the TV and watch all 20 videos.

"Paisley! Jamila! Come down for dinner," Nirvana yells from the bottom of the staircase.

"One minute!" Paisley yells back down.

We finish watching Tyler's video with Troye and we make our way downstairs. We walk into the dining room to see 3 pizza's. 1 meat-lovers, 1 hawaiian and 1 chicken and cranberry.

"Ooo, yum," Paisley and I chant in unison.

I end up eating a piece of each pizza and a glass of Pepsi. When the four of us are finished Paisley and I collect the dishes, place them in the dish washer and set it to clean the dishes.

By time we have finished all if this it is 7 o'clock so we go down to watch a movie or 2. First we watch The Wizard of Oz.

Shortly before the movie is finished, Dad and Nirvana walked down to join us.

Once our movie finished dad picked out The Hunger Games series and we watched all four movies.
