My brothers hiding something?!?

we didnt know what else to do. so we called the police. when they got here they took a look at the tv that now lyes on the carpet infront of the couch. nothing happend to anything else in the house that me or Carter noticed but from that point on we were a little bit scared. aspeicaly since Shaney would be here any day now. we sat at the kitchen table and talked about her and the saftey changes.

"i just dont think shes safe up there in her own room. i would feel alot better knowing that we were near her Carter. i just couldnt forgive myself if she got hurt." i started to cry because i over thought about that.

"ok how about this babe we bring her crib down here to our room until i get a chance to move our stuff in to the spare you on the floor where her room is."

"id like that. thank you so much Carter." he pulled me close to him. then i felt something happen that isnt normal. Shaney was being weird. Carter knew so he put his hand on my stomach. but that didnt calm her this time. then we noticed that it wasnt just her movment that was the problem. we noticed that my water just broke!

Carter grabed the car keys and carried me out the door with him. he put the car seat in the back and drove to the hospital.

"hun hun hun are we there yet." i wouldnt open my eyes. i felt scared.

"almost baby just hang tight. stay in there just a little longer Shaney."

"hury Carter!!"

then we were there. he carried me in and they got me in the delivery room faster then i could blink.

"Carter..." i whisperd.

"ya im right here."

"im scared."

"scared of what?" he was confused he thought i would be happy.

"well my sister had a kid."

"wait your sister is dead though Alexis."

"exactly!"

"oh... dont you dare think for one second that your going to die Alexis Amber Gracey."

i could see tears in his eyes.

now i was crying too.

they told me i was ready and i looked at thwm and said "oh no im not!" but i did it any way. it was no time before Shaney was out. Carter watched but then saw all the blood and fainted. i kinda felt sorry for him. they put him on the couch in the waiting room and handed me Shaney.

"hi little one. do you know who i am? im mommy."

"awwww!" i heard Carter say as he walked in. i couldnt help be laugh because of his expresstion.

"i cant believe i missed it!" i handed him our little girl and he shut right up. well exept for cooing over her. then my brother came in with no Alice.

"hey bro."

"hey where is my baby?" it made me nervous the way he said that last part. he almost sounded mad.

"MY baby is over there with her father." i said pointing to Carter.

"oh well i have bad news."

"ok what is it Nate?"

"its about Alice..."

"oh my gosh what happend!" i put my hands on my mouth because my brother was starting to cry.

"she was murderd a few hours ago!" i didnt know what to do for him. i was sad and scared because that made me think of mom.

"what happend?" i said balling.

"well i was at work and came home and she lovley as always making me dinner. and then i went up stairs came back down and she was..."

"oh god. how could that even happen?"

"i dont know."

"look i am so sorry but im about to fall asleep." i said yawning and closing my eyes. mean while Carter was over there falling asleep with shaney

when i woke up i heard Carter talking to my sleeping child.

"yep and then mommy is going to go back to work, but only monday and wendsday and you and daddy can chill." i laughed.

"sorry i didnt know you were awake yet hun. here take Shaney." he said while passing me the baby.

"your so sweet and cute." i kissed him.

we sighned out of the hospital and gave the nurse the babys name for the birth cirtificate.

Shaney Victoria Gracey was her name. and we loved it. when we got home Justin was happy to see us. and very happy to see Shaney. we could tell right away that she had her mommys brown hair an her daddys blue eyes.

we went up stairs to our room which my amazing husband switched to up where Shaney slept up in the spare room and lyed down and slept. first we put Shaney in her crib. i woke up at 12:28amto the sound of Shaney crying. but then it stoped and i herd a shhh coming from her room. i was terrified. i got up and ran to her to see who was in there. it was just Carter. i smiled at him as he put Shaney in her crib.

"im sorry i was just going to check on her." he said when we got back to our room.

"thats fine you just scared me thats all. thank you for getting up and letting me sleep." i said while yawning and stretching.

"no prob. anything to get closer to Shaney."then we heard some one down stairs.

"you go stay with our baby and ill check it out." i loved how he said our baby insted of the baby. then he grabed his baseball bat and started going down stairs. i went and stayed with our baby

"CRASH" it scared me so bad i jumped.
