My brothers hiding something?!?

We Were Doing So Well

I woke up the next morning and made my docters appointment for 2 weeks from now. Seems a little late but oh well. Me and carter were going to go down to Los Vegus for the weekend and leave the kids with Nathen if we can get a hold of him. We are going to go down on friday and stay till monday. Before we knew i was pregnant we were going to go clubbing. Or maybe we should bring nathen and just get Anny to watch the kids. Annyy is carters sister. She has only watched Shaney and that was once when i was gone away with carter for a date night when she first moved to california. It was Wednesday so we had two days to fgure something out.

"Hey hun do you like this for Los Vegus?" i said holding up a little yellow dress with no sleeves.

"Hell no! other guys might look at you!" he said smirking.

"haha but really i need help finding something to wear babe."

"ok ok i get it. here." he handed me a shopping bag.

the bag had three outfits in it. I sleeveless pink and grey top that buttoned up at the front with a black mini skirt with lace around the bottom. the second was a black tank top with rips in the back and jean shorts. And the third was a little pink cocktail dress that zipped up at the back. it had the sleeves that hang down on your sholders.

"oh my gosh hun wow thankyou so so so much i love them!!!" i jumped into his arms.

"ok calm down they were just a little aniversery gift baby" he said picking me up and setting me on his lap. thats why we were going to Los Vegus. it was our 3 year aniversery. we got married when i was 18 and he was 20 now im 21 and hes 23. 

"I really love you carter. I really really do." i said before i kissed him.

The next day we woke up to hear Shaney screaming from her room.

"MOMMY DADDY MOMMY DADDY!!!!' she screamed over and over again. Me and Carter ran up to see what was wrong.

"What is it baby?!?!?" i said picking her up.

"Help!" she said pointing to the window. i looked and saw a women standing across the street at us.

"Carter!" i said waving him over. he had darcey and foster with him. " look at the ladie."

"what what ladie??? baby theres nobody there..." i looked at him puzzled. then looked back at where the girl had been. she was gone. 

"but she was-" 

"hun you are probly just stressed." he said as he put the babys back in their crib.

"your right. im probly just seeing things." i smiled at him. he has such a great smile.

"ok well why dont we all go out for breakfast and spend the day out shopping. i think we should go get shaney some new clothes anyway shes growing really fast. nothing fits her well anymore."

"ok il get the kids ready while you get the car started."

when carter was gone i went to the window to look for the girl. she was still gone. i must be crazy. but shaney saw it too! i dont know. oh well we are safe thats all that matters. 

i turned around to get shaneys coat on when my brother walked in.

"hey nathen i havnt seen you in like forever!" i ran to hug him but he backed away. 

" whats wrong nate you used to like my hugs." i said sadly.

"sorry sis im just not in the mood right now."

i went to go pick shaney up when he pushed me out of the way to grab her. he picked her up and held her tight.

"what are you doing nathen." i said as i watched him try and straighten her hair.

"NATHEN!!!" still no responce.

"what are you doing nathen!?!?!??!" he looked up. but there was something weird about him. his eyes were green. he doesnt have green eyes. his eyes are brown.

"are you ok??" i said as i took shaney.

"why of coarse i am alexis. why are you being so foolish?" he smiled at me.

"what is with you?"

i walked out with the kids and got them ready downstairs. then i went to the car and carter was already buckled in.

"hey baby." i said as i sat down in the front seat.

"hey, what took you so long?"

"um i was talking to nathen. didnt you see him come in?"

"no i was standing at the door for 10 minutes then i gave up and went to the car."

"oh."

"are you sure you wanna come out maybe you should stay home and get some rest baby."

"ya maybe..."

"sooooo..."

"im gonna stay home." i said as i walked out of the car.

"im sorry baby you can come i just thought you might want to stay home." he said frowning.

"no no its fine. you go spend the day with the kids i do have to work tommorow and im not feeling very good."

"ok you sure you dont want me to stay home and take care of you?"

"no im sure. you go have fun. see you when you get home."

when they were gone i got a snack an went back to my room. i watched some tv and ate some left over mackaronie. then i went to bed. but about 20 minutes later i woke up to the sound of the window in shaneys room being slamed shut.

"SHIT!!!" i heard i vooice coming from her room. i ran up the stairs with my guitar for protection.

when i got to the room i saw nate standing there trying to get his shirt out from underneith the window.

"what are you doing nathen? you could have used the front door and not the fourth floor window. what the heck has gotten into you?" i said lifting the window setting him free.

"i-i was just grabbing my phone i left it in the room and i didnt want to wake you by using the front door." he said picking up his phone smiling at me.

"wait... how did you know i was sleeping?"
