My brothers hiding something?!?

the thought drove me crazy! i dont know what i would do if he didnt come home. i just couldnt live. i pased in the hall until the docter called my name.

"Alexis Gracey. you can come in now."

I jump up and run into see him.

"hey i remmeber you." Carter says as i walk in. the first thing i do when i got in there was hug him. i huged him for what seemed to be hours until he let go. i sat down next to him.

"what happend Carter. i was worried sick and they wouldnt tell me what happend to you."

"well i was driving to work and then some idiot drove into the side of the car." he explained. by the look in his eyes i could tell there was more to that story then he was telling me.

"and...?" i finally asked after 5minutes of silence.

"and what?"

"i know when your hiding something Carter and i want to know what is. so..."

"When i was in the car i was in a hurry and didnt wear my seat belt. happy now i told you Alexis."

he was mad at me for forcing it out of him. but he knew i would.

"well... im just glad your ok." i said as the tears building up in my eyes streamed down my face.

"come here. im so sorry hun. i didnt know." his voice was so sweet. i could tell that he ment it which made me smile.

"it ok i just dont like feeling like i might lose you."

after that we went home. Our dog Justin was waiting out on the front porch for us. the first this Justin did was run up to Carter and lick his face. i giggled and took his stuff inside.

"hey babe,"

"yes dear" he said as he walked in heading up to our room.

"can you go grocery shoping tommorow i have to go to pick up lizzy." i said as i fed Justin.

"lizzy? why cant your mom pick her up shes her daughter?"

"i know but mom has a docters appointment."

then carter nodded and went up to bed. i got my diner ready. as it cooked i sat on the couch and watched degrassi. degrassi was my favourite show ever but since our lifes got bussy with the baby on the way and mom with her cancer i havent got a chance to watch it in forever. before i knew it my dinner was ready. i got up and set the table. then i went to see if Carter was hungry. i walked in and he was sitting on the edge of his bed staring at the wall. hes been doing that a lot latley ever since i found out i was pregnent.

"waccha doin babe?" he asked as i sat down next to him.

"i was actully about to ask you the same thing."

"well i was thinking about we should do for the babys room. i mean only 3 more months before she comes along."

"ok so what do you think we should do."

"um i dont know right now." he leaned over and kissed my cheak.

"well diner is ready so if you want some come down stairs."

i left the room and went down stairs. when i got into the kitchen i heard the phone ring.

"hello" i answered.

"hi hows my pregnent little sis today?" it was my older brother Nathen.

"oh hey Nate im fine and so is Shaney." thats what me and Carter named the baby. Shaney. My mother and father didnt like the thought of their little granddaughters nick name being shane but i liked it and so did carter.
