Dark Pov
I got out of the Gym and Professor Elm called saying that I had to take care of the egg I delivered to him. I went to the Poke Mart and picked up the egg. As I left some girl stopped me.
???:Me oh my... That egg must be...!
Dark:Mr.Pokémon gave it to me.
???:I see... So it was handed from Mr.Pokémon to Professor Elm, then from Professor Elm to you.
Dark:Yeah...
???:Now I get it...
Mystik:Get what?
She backs off a little bit.
???:That egg is truly an important egg. Please do take care of it for me. Is that understood?
Dark:Yeah...?
She spun around then had a unfolded fan in front of her face.
???:I'm counting on you.
She then walks away without another word.
S.o.D:Am I first to say this?
Mystik:What?
S.o.D:What the hell was that about?
Dark:Dunno.
Mystik:With that out of the way. Let's head back to the Ruins of Alph. My mom wants to tell you something Dark.
Dark:Ok.
We went to the ruins, and sat down in the research center.
Mystik:Anyway. What did you want to tell Dark mom?
Mystik's mom:It's good that you're all here. I have some bad news. Team Rocket is on their way to find something called the Dark One.
Lyra:The Dark One?
Mystik's mom:There isn't that much said about it, but it is an object so powerful it turns any Pokémon into a pure shadow Pokémon.
S.o.D:Pure Shadow Pokémon?
Mystik:Yeah. Shadow Pokémon were Pokémon that were being used for wrongful acts because they had the doors to their hearts shut artificially, a process created and carried out by Cipher in the Orre region.
Dark:How do you know this if you were raised in Unova and Johto?
Mystik's mom:It's because I was raised there.
Dark:Ok. But what does this have to do with me, and what is the difference between normal shadow Pokémon and pure shadow Pokémon?
Mystik's Mom:In the legend it read of someone who was born with a curse and will stop the Dark One. As for pure shadow Pokémon we don't know yet.
Dark:How about telling which is a normal Pokémon and a shadow one?
Mystik's Mom:Well. When I was a teenager I was able to see the aura of shadow Pokémon.
Mystik:Wait. You what?!
Mystik's Mom:Yes... Now you should be able to see them Mystik.
Mystik:I see...
Mystik's Mom:You see. The fate of the world is in your guys hands.
I got up and put a determined look on my face.
Dark:I'll stop Team Rocket no matter what.
Lyra:Where Dark goes I go.
S.o.D:Hey. I didn't come with Dark through Johto just to have it destroyed.
