I woke up and got out my bed depressed then went downstairs.
Mom:Hey honey. How did you sleep?
Dark:Terrible. Every time I dream they are crushed by what I am.
Mom:I'm sorry sweetie, but I have good news.
Dark:Mom there is only news. There is no such thing as good or bad news.
Mom:Your dream can come true sweetie. Professor Elm wants you to get something for him and he will give you a trainer license afterwards.
My wolf ears perked up.
Dark:Really?!
Mom:Yep!
Dark:When can I go?
Mom:When you're ready.
I ran upstairs and got everything I would need.

I put on my hat then went to my closet to look for my bag.
Dark:Aha! There you are!

I then put on my back and went to Professor Elm's lab.
Dark:Bye mom love you.
Mom:Bye Dark. Safe travels.
I got out the door and met up with Lyra's Marill which ran into me.
Dark:Oh. Hey Marill.
Marill:Mar Mar!
Lyra:Marill!!!! Oh hey Dark.
