tight skirts.

y/n woke up extra early, nervous and excited for her new job.

"wow, I'm a pro heroes assistant." she cheered, dancing around in her pj's, hugging her egg sandwich. she giggled and fed jelly beans his breakfast, the ferret seriously wondering why she was so excited.

y/n left the ferret to himself as he played in his mini ball pit to go shower and fix her hair, which took longer than she expected whc=ich made her thankful she had woken up extra early. it was nearing 8 am by now and she was finally putting on her outfit, which was the gorgeous sheer white top with elegant frills on it and a unique tie on the neck, she wore a black tank top under it and a nice, tight pencil skirt with a slit on top. she put her black heels on and checked herself out in the mirror.

"shit, I'm hot." y/n snapped a few photos to upload to Instagram later and ran around looking for her larger purse.

she would have to bring jelly beans to work with her as he could not be left home alone for too long, despite I'm being well-mannered. he would tear shit up if it was longer than 5 hours.

she put all the necessities including a change of shoes and clothes in her bag and made the ferret go potty before they set off for the agency building.

walking in her heels was a pain, but she managed, thankful that the agency was only about a 10-minute walk away from her neighborhood. she stared up at the building nervously, jelly beans perched on her shoulder.

"okay buddy, let's do this."

y/n stepped foot in the building and was surprised by the lack of excitement. she looked around for a second before somebody cleared their throat. y/n whipped her head around to see a woman at a desk, staring at her boredly.

y/n, embarrassed, walked up and shyly introduced herself.

"hi, um, hawks told me to come by at 10 today...I'm l/n y/n."

the woman raised an eyebrow, specifically at the ferret on her shoulder. "uh-huh...I'll call in real quick then. go wait over there." the lady pointed at a random indoor potted tree. y/n nodded obediently and stood by herself, looking out the windows.

after about 2 minutes, the woman cleared her throat again to get y/n's attention. "he's waiting for you on the top floor" she had a bit of an attitude in her voice, but y/n brushed it off and nodded.

"okay, thank you!" she decided to stay as positive as she could.

she found her way over to the elevator and stepped in, greeted by muffled music. she pressed the highest floor button and waited as the door closed. once alone, she leaned against the back and sighed.

"well she was just a ray of sunshine, wasn't she jelly beans?" y/n giggled, glancing at her baby boy.

jelly beans tickled her cheek with his nose in agreement, making his cute little ferret noises as per usual.

the elevator ascended rather slowly, y/n nodding along boredly to the pop music playing. once the door finally opened, she smiled and stepped out, her heels clicking quietly. she wandered down the long hallway until she reached a larger open room that had a couch and some plants, and coincidentally, hawks too.
