Third person POV:

The ninga had just arrived at their mission location, Zane spotted everything from the ground above using his falcon vision. It was an abandoned part of Ninjago which was forgotten, but they were there since they tracked down Ultra-Violet who had escaped. They turned the corner and then Cole punced onto Ultra-Violet and then successfully caught her. "Good job guys!" Lloyd exclaimed to his teammates. "Yea, It wasn't that bad" Nia said while holding onto Jay's shoulders catching her breath. Cole held onto Ultra-Violet with Zane, while Zane simultaniously informed Cryptonium Prison saying that we're ready for them to come pick her up.

Kai's POV:

Zane was talking with the cops on the other side of his communicator, but as I walked behind the group heading to the front of the village, I noticed something. There were these weirdly shaped vines that were yellow, not green. I walked towards them diverting from my team. As I walked closer to the vines, they reached out and grabbed me. My mouth was covered with vines and I mumbled loudly and squirmed to get out of the grasp of the vines. My team didn't notice, of course they didn't! I ran to the side without anybody noticing, they think I'm behind them! I then saw as my vision of my team get blurry, just then I heard someone yell my name. I then lost vision.

Lloyd's POV:

I looked back and saw Kai being strangled by some kind of vines, just like the ones in the Prime Empire. "Kai!" I screamed as I could tell he was getting weaker. I ran towards him and Cole handed off Ultra-VIolet to the police then followed the other 3. I got Kai down, but after Zane scanned him we found out that some toxins had entered his body from the vines. We rushed back to the bounty, while I carried Kai bridal-style. When we got back I placed him in the medbay and then gathered around with the team while Zane tried to give him some antibodies. Kai was stuggling, he looked like he was in agony. A lot of it. He started sweating and his breath was heavy. He started to sneeze and it wasn't normal, he was sneezing fire! "Whoah!" Cole said backing up by almost getting fire-sneezed away. "I would suggest you all go into the other room" Zane told us, and we all left.
Nia looked worried for her brother, and Jay comforted her on the couch. I sat in the kitchen while Cole rummaged through the kitchen for food. We then heard a loud scream come from the medbay, Zane had Kai tied down onto the bed while Kai looked like a phsycopath. Kai was awake, but his eyes raging like fire, laughing, fire in his mouth, moving trying to get out of Zane's safety measurements hasterically.

"Zane what's happening?!" Nia yelled comming in behind me. "I'm not sure! His elemental power levels are off the chart!" Zane replied, almost yelling over Kai's laugh. Then I saw as Kai's eyes stopped flamming, but as he quieted down, his eyes stayed a deep red. His heavy breath was now smoke, and he fell backwards back into a sleep.

This is my second Ninjago story, and I'm planning to finish it at hopefully 10 chapters, but I will add more if I need to as the story progresses. This is NOT finished, It will be published for feedback on what you guys want in the next chapter(s).
