Were here...Kai!

Lloyd's POV:

We heard when Cole tuned in, Jay responded as me and Zane grabbed all of our gear. Exept for Nia, this mission might be a little too much for her. I still believed that she should come, but it was majority rules.  I gave jay his equiptment, then we went to where Cole was sending his signal from.

Time skip, they just arrived to Cole.

We walked up behind Cole, but I knew he could hear us. My face went cold when Cole turned around to face us, he looked terrible.

"They took him inside there, he's in the lab. He looked completely out of his mind!" Cole frantically said.

I've never seen Cole this frantic, and by the reactions of Jay and Zane, they hadn't either.

"I'm scanning the area now, seems there aren't many in the building. Three downstairs, that is including the two outside, two on the second, none on the third, and one on the fourth. The vitals are normal for all exept the one on the top floor, I would predict that would be Kai." Zane said a little hurridley.

Third person POV:

The Ninja made their way into the Lab, taking the guards down in the front. At that time the sun was going down, so they had some growing shadows they could hide in. The four made their way to the top floor.

"This is huge! How are we suppose to find wack-a-flame here?" Jay almost yelled in a whisper of a voice.

The Ninja walked down the halls, one, by one, by one, as a group. They looked in every window, every cell, until they came to a hallway that seemed a bit off. Those cells did not have any openings on the door. Zane used his ice to break the locks as they went inside each, Nobody. Until they came to a stop.

"I can detect someone in here" Zane said, "Yea, I think I can hear something too" Cole added.

They did, they opened the cell as frezzing cold air rushed out at them. Kai at the end of it, hardly any clothing, a bunch of injuries, and his eyes looked blank as he was...laughing.

"Kai!" They all at somepoint managed to say, they had found him.

For what was left of him...

Kai's POV:

I heard as the voices opened my comfy little room, I didn't want to go..It was so..so..warm. I did flintch as the door opened, looking up I saw four blurry figures walk towards me. Yelling somthing, but I couldn't hear them. I was still laughing, but I guess my blank red eyes could see better than me. As hot, steamy, tears poured down my face. Then it hit me, It wasn't warm, it was cold! I realized this as Zane gave me some kind of shot, ugh...I didn't want to see another needle ever again.

I could stop laughing, my mouth went normal, my head became a bit clearer, but I still couldn't talk. I couldn't make emotions in my eyes, neither could I smile...They were here to save me and I couldn't react in the slightest way! I watched as the light from the door lit up the room, my eyes being the brightest thing about me. They were hesitant to come near me, I could tell. As Zane came closer he paused before finally breaking off the chains that held my hands to the wall while the rest of my body lyed on the floor.

Cole picked me up, probably since he's the strongest out of the 4 of them.

"We have to get him back to the bounty!" Lloyd commanded. As they ran back carrying me, Jay blasted a few guards and security cameras with lighting. They're weren't many guards we saw, was not many people there? Then as we were about to leave, the doors wide open to the exit, the old woman stood there

"I see you've found him, do you truely want some phsycopath with you? She then proceeded to come towards Cole who was carrying me on his back. Jay blasted her with lightning and we all ran out. I really didn't care if she was okay or not, I hated her. As I was brought into the bounty, I felt safer. Until Zane surprised me by sticking another needle into my arm. Augh...Those hurt, don't they know that?! I mean, I couldn't tell them anyways. Not like they can read a emotionless face.

I was lyed on a bed in the medbay, then saw Nia by the door looking at me. I could only see her out of the side of my eyes, I could only look straight after all. I felt as gentle hands were placed on my legs. Nia was there, just crying. I wanted to tell her I was alright, but I knew I couldn't. Even If I could, would I be telling her a lie?

Time Skip 4 months

Cole's POV:

It had been 4 months, and the others had given up on Kai ever waking up. Zane however, still hoped and helped with Kai of course, but I knew he didn't have much trust in how much longer Kai could go. I normally would help Zane with Kai, like washing his hair and checking vitals while Zane was making food. I would be making food but they told me I would probably put them in the same state as Kai if I did.

It was the early afternoon, it had just gotten done raining so the others were inside playing video games. Sensei Wu and Misako were on a trip again too. I walked into Kai's room, which is were we moved him since he's been out so long. The fire ninja would close his eyes too sleep, but any other time he would just have his eyes open looking forwards. His eyes were their original color again, and he seemed to be moving his fingers sometimes. I sighed and went to sit on a couch to read in his  make  -shift -room. (Since all the guys really sleep in the same room they set up another room for Kai to recover that's not Medbay).

"Cole...?" I heard from infront of me as I looked up. "Kai! Hey buddy!" I said not too loud. Kai was awake and had turned his head, looking at me! Not the roof! I ran out and got the others "Kai's awake!" I screamed.

"Kai's Awake?"

I might not be able to post tomorrow since I have some end of the semester courses comming up soon.
