Resolute

Obi-wan is seen walking toward the hangar to await his transport to negotiate a possible alliance with Colonel Clarke and his fleet. However, Anakin isn't far behind trying to either dissuade him or convince him to bring security along. Better yet Anakin tries to push to have it here on the Resolute where he can "keep an eye on them." "We've talked about this Anakin, the meeting will take place on his ship like he requested and I've accepted. Not mention you were the one to open fire first and helped cause this whole mess to begin with as well." "Well I still don't think its a good idea to over there without some security, at least take Cody with you." Obi-wan sighs wearily. "Fine, I'll ask if I can bring Cody with me as well but if they won't allow then its settled. Understood?" Anakin just glares at his master and silently concedes that he can't convince him otherwise. The walk they had to the hangar gave off this awkward silence that you get from couple fighting. Commander Cody was apprised of the possibility that Obi-wan could request him to go along as well. A soldier representative to another may prove beneficial when it relates to protocol and doctrine could provide common ground. Though he also understood if they didn't allow him to go to the talks as changing the deal might not go well.

Upon entering the hangar they were greeted by Ahsoka who was curious about the negotiations taking place. While she knew she wouldn't be allowed this time anyway, she still seemed deeply interested in learning diplomacy with master Kenobi. "Hello masters, I heard you'll be going over to talk about a possible alliance with a new civilization from outside this galaxy?" Obi-wan looks toward Ahsoka while walking." Yes, I'll be going over to discuss talks regarding a treaty with this Terran Federation. I'll tell you more upon my return and do be sure to keep your master out of trouble." Ahsoka seemed excited yet calm when Obi-wan promised to update her regarding the talks and yet Anakin was annoyed that his own padawan would be keeping an eye on him. Obi-wan waited patiently looking through the hangar shield toward space as if he could see the ship coming to pick him up.

The Pickup

Clarke had sent Charlie squad to pick up General Kenobi regarding the talks of a possible military alliance. Soon the dropship was underway toward their flagship to pick up the new guest. Usually you could describe the roar of the dropship as it flew at high speeds toward their intended target. Though space has a way of deafening the sound of its engines to near silence, unless you were in a pressurized cabin behind it. Then the soundwave would silently hit the pressurized cabin allowing you to hear some deafened engine noise. The trip was short but the squad did decide to chat on their way in. "So who's this General Kenobi we're picking up? Sounds like some party bachelor name." Said private Clu, he had a habit of screwing around with dumb names that he's heard over the years. "Supposed to be some "Jedi" general thats known for his diplomatic skill." Captain Badger told Clu from across the transport. "Diplomatic my ass, ain't no skill needed in the mobile infantry or the DC metro area." Lieutenant Grouse mentioned as well. He wasn't overly keen on diplomacy when he could simply instead put a round through someone. That kind of attitude both landed him in trouble and into the special branch for not "taking shit."
