Ghost King Meets A Bat Monster

'Hmmm... This doesn't look so good...' I thought as I backed up into a tree, ' Perhaps I should Shadow Tr-Holy Hades!'  Dodging some claws I dive under the first hydra's belly narrowly avoiding an acid face mask.  Using the monster's shadow I travel with out any thought as to where I'm going. Mistake #1. 

Sudden darkness, frigid cold, screams...haunting piercing screams. As soon as It comes It's gone. Exhausted,I stumble out of the darkness. 'oh great where I'm I now?' If there was one phrase I say/think the most, that would probably be it.

I slowly turn around taking in my surroundings. It's early in the morning, the sun isn't out yet. I'm in a garden behind a Mansion, under a willow tree, Judging from this distance I'd say it was four stories tall.  The place seems decent, for mortal standards. Hades palace makes this place look like a box some unfortunate homeless person would live in. 

 Taking my time I stroll down the lanes of lavender, lilies, and roses. I'm careful not to touch them or get to close though, I'd probably kill them..I might have gotten into a little argument with Persephone. She was so asking for it though! Anyway she's still mad at me. Now whenever I get close to or touch a plant, It withers and turns black. Even the grass I'm walking on is now dead and withered.

"Master Bruce? Your Coffee?" Bruce lifted his head from the desk where he had fallen asleep.

"Huh? What?" He asked startled," I didn't ask for coffee....?" Confusion written on his face.

" You have a meeting in a hour and you haven't slept in 2 days, I suggest you drink the coffee." He needs no further explanation. I wonder what would become of him if he didn't have me around...

" I thought the meeting was on Thursday...?" Bruce asked.

"Master Bruce. It Is Thursday," For a moment he looked panicked but he quickly got a hold on himself and started up out of his chair to get ready.

" Sir, Did you invite anyone over today?" I asked slowly. He turned to look at the screen I was watching. A young boy maybe 9 or 10 was standing in the gardens looking around. He didn't seem like a threat, in fact he looked kind of tired and weak. That didn't matter to Bruce though. almost immediately went into Batman mode and ran to get his suit on (the Bat suit of course).  

"I suppose I should cancel your meeting then?" l called out, but he was already gone.

After I walked around admiring the place a little bit exhaustion set in. I was suddenly tired like I just ran a marathon after not sleeping for a week. Regardless I walked around wondering I there was an exit I could use. Seriously, who needs a yard this big? 

Pausing under a Cherry Blossom I scanned the garden. Someone was watching me. Monitoring my surroundings carefully I continued my stroll. I carefully approached a gazebo. Without looking up I already knew there was someone on the roof. 

The figure jumped down and the only thought in my delirious head was: 'MONSTER RUN'. Now hear me out before I tell you what I did OK? It was dark, I was tired, And I thought the flying bat thing jumping at me was a monster...so i tried to shadow travel. Mistake #2. Unfortunately I didn't make It far, I ended up 10 meters away swaying on my feet. Falling to my knees I tried to stay conscious . 'oh..that was a bad idea...' was the last thought in my head as I collapsed.
