(City of Inkopolis - Inkling General Hospital)

It took a while but eventually the four blue inklings were able to calm Ruby down. The poor girl had broken down into a sudden crying fit, and neither of the four were certain as to why.

Once she had finally calmed down enough to stand up, Ruby was slowly walked back to her bed. As she laid back down onto the hospital bed, she hugged her knees tightly to her chest and started quietly talking to herself as tears fell down her pale cheeks.

Ruby: "I- I don't understand... Where am I..? Why is this happening to me..? I want to go home... *cries* Yang, please help me..."

Although Ruby was experiencing immense sorrow and despair, fortunately for her there was at least one Inkling in the room who seemed to know exactly how to cheer her up.

Goggles may not have been able to fully comprehend the gravity of the situation, but he was none the less eager to help Ruby out. As he walked over and stood beside her bed, he gave Ruby a comforting smiled and spoke to her with enthusiasm.

Goggles: "Don't worry Ruby! We'll help you however we can because you're our friend now, right guys?"

Specs & Headphones: "HUH?! Don't make decisions like that on your own!!"

Goggles: "Aww.. but we helped bring her to the hospital, and we even stayed to make sure she was ok. Isn't that what friends do?"

Regardless of being promptly told off, the rest of Blue Team knew that now they had no choice but to help this seemingly lost and helpless Inkling girl they had only just met a few hours ago.

Not that they would say no to helping a fellow Inkling youth out, but they all knew that once Goggles had a set goal in mind, there was no holding him back. Much to the irritation of two Inklings in particular.

Ruby: "*Sniffle* Huh?.. Waitnonoit'sokyoudon'thavetodothatforme! We've only just met after all and you've all already done so much, so um.. I don't want to take up anymore of your time."

Despite Ruby's own protests to the idea of being aided by four complete strangers, Specs was quick to wave off her concerns as he and the rest of Blue Team looked into her sad eyes with reassuring smiles on their faces.
