Out of Time (5SOS)

Chapter 20

We went back to the buses and fell asleep quickly after the show. Bree had isolated herself from everyone when we got back.

Today was spending the day to ourselves before we had another concert tonight. We all decided to go to Central Park for the day. We sent the message out to twitter so fans that were in the area could come and meet everyone. The bus began to roll as we travelled to the park. Everyone was excited to say the least. Even I was, and I'm not even part of the band.

We pulled up to the park and climbed out, fans screaming in excitement as the bands stepped out in front of them. They restrained themselves as best they could to let the band through to a spot they wanted.

We found a big area of space and that's where the bands began taking photos and meeting fans. 

"Could I get a picture with you both?" A girl asked me and Ashton. I looked at him and he helped me out of chair. The girl stood in between us as her friend took a photo. More fans around her took photos of us three. "Thank you so much! Can I ask for one more picture?" She asked and then whispered to Ashton. I saw him smile and then nod. She smiled back and got her phone off of her friend turning around to us. I looked between her and Ashton before he pulled me into a tight hug and kissed the top of my head. I smiled. 

"Kiss her!" We heard people yelling to us. I looked up at him and he placed his lips on mine. We broke away and I couldn't help but blush. He helped me back into my chair and then took more photos with fans. I wheeled myself to the girls. They were taking group shots with people at the moment.

Both bands soon took a big group photo with fans. One group of fans wanted to break the bands up into couples and take the photos like that, just the bands though. Ash climbed onto Michael's back and she ruffled his hair a little. Calum wrapped his arm around Lilly's waist and kissed her head. Sky grabbed Cody into the photo and they wrapped their arms around each others backs. Ashton picked me up out of my chair and held me bridal style. Luke put his arm hesitantly around Bree and she gave into him. She looked like she was about to cry. Relief washed over both of them and they relaxed a little. The fans all took photos of us all. 

We then thought it'd be fair to take a big group photo with everyone that was present. Some people laid on the grass, others crouched, and the majority of the people were standing. Mum took the photo for us and the Luke posted the photo to all the social media sites. 

Someone had ordered pizza so we all sat around eating on the grass while we got to know the fans.

"Are you coming to the concert tonight?" I asked a fan. She couldn't speak, she was so excited that I was talking to her. She smiled and nodded her head very quickly. "Are you excited?"

"Extremely." She managed to get out. "I am such a big fan!' She gasped.

"Of me? I'm only dating Ashton, I have no special talent!" I laughed. 

"But you're beautiful, and you're dating Ashton Irwin! Which might I add many people want to date him!" She laughed. I hugged her and I could feel her shaking. She didn't know what to do. I let her go and went over to Bree, seeing she had isolated herself with Luke. I turned back around to see Ashton walking up to me. He looked over the top of my head and saw them. I put my hands on his chest. 

"Let them have some space." I said softly. I walked behind me as I went back to the crowd of people around the rest of the bands. 

The boy's manager soon walked over to us and ushered us back to the bus to head back to the arena. We climbed in and took a seat. I sat in Ashton's lap while Michael and Ash battled it out on the x-box. We let Bree and Luke have the front of the bus to talk and discuss some things.
