Hi guys! Welcome to the proper beginning of New Life. I am really excited about writing this, honestly updates are going to be really slow because I have mocks coming up and I'm kinda stressing about it, but this does calm me down so hopefully it will be okay! After seeing how many people enjoyed Not Alone, I was thrilled and super motivated to start this that I just couldn't wait to get the first chapter out, and I hope you enjoyed it. If any of you have any suggestions or theories about this book, I love to hear them. Hope you enjoy! Love y'all. Okay.. let's go!
Remember, the outfit is the same as in Bad Wolf and The Parting of the Ways but here is a picture to remind you. Xx

Jackie sits despondently by her rather lacking, stout, white Christmas tree, staring longingly at a framed picture of her daughter, Rose Tyler. last she'd seen or heard from her were the TARDIS doors slamming shut in her face as she and the Alchemist flew off to save the Doctor from his impending doom. Months had passed since then and her hopes of Rose returning were dwindling; but who could she talk to? Who would understand? Mickey. But Mickey wasn't always available to listen to her worries and he had ones of his own, understandable ones. Suddenly, a familiar wheezing sound echoes around the Powell Estate, filling Jackie's heart with Christmas cheer. She raced out of her apartment and down the stairs, seeing Mickey sprinting from around the corner clad in his work overalls and a grin adorning his face. "Mickey!" She called out, ecstatic.
Mickey caught up to her, breathing heavy but a smile ever present. "Jackie, it's the TARDIS!"
"I know, I know, I heard it." She grabs his arms. "She's alive, Mickey. I said so, didn't I? She's alive!" She responded with just as much enthusiasm.
"Just shut up a minute." Mickey scolded.
"Well, where is it then?" The pair look to the sky only to see a familiar blue box launch itself out of thin air, bounce off the apartment walls before making its landing by a set of bins, narrowly missing their heads as it went.
A dashing young man flings the doors of the police box open and leans out, his outfit a bit loose on him but clearly the Doctor's clothes. "Here we are then!" He cheered, proud of himself. "London, Earth, the Solar System. We did it!"
Ivy takes a step out, her hair resembling a birds nest and terror etched onto her face, though she can't help but smile at the Doctor's antics; still very much enamoured with him. "very proud of you." She chuckles to herself.
The Doctor grins at her, winking causing a red tint to fill her cheeks. He straightened up, evidently proud of the reaction he earned before turning to face the two enormously confused residents of London. "Jackie! Mickey! Blimey." he smiles, stepping towards them before jeering off course and pacing around them. "No, no, no, no, hold on. Wait there. I've got something to say. There was something I had to tell you, something important." He monologues. "What was it?" he suddenly grasps them by the shoulders. "No, hold on, hold on. Shush, shush, shush, shush."
"No-one was saying anything." Ivy points out.
"Shush!" He orders, almost angrily, causing her to tighten her lips. "Oh, I know!" He stands up, his gorgeous smile stretching his cheeks once again. "Merry Christmas!" He finished before collapsing into Mickey's arms.
"Doc!" Ivy called, marching towards him swiftly and holding his head in her lap.
Rose having heard the commotion makes her way out of the impossible box, only to see the "new" doctor on the floor in a heap. "Is he alright?" She asked tentatively, still afraid of him.
