The two arrive at Blue Rock Beach, they get out of Mordecai's and walk towards the large group of friends.
"TWILIGHTS HERE" Pinkie yells in excitement when she saw the two walking towards them, Pinkie runs up to Twilight and hugs her.
"I am so so so so soooo sorry I got you in trouble! Please forgive me" Pinkie pleads
"Pinkie, what are you talking about haha this was my fault I should've been more responsible" Twilight says
"Phew I thought I lost a friend!"
"Twilight! your bathing suit is so different from what I thought you were gonna wear" Fluttershy says in a surprised tone
"Yeah..This is Rarity's" Twilight explains
They all go "Ohhhh that makes sense"
"And what is THAT supposed to mean?" Rarity defensively says
"Can we go find a spot now?" Beast boy interrupts the conversation
They all agree and find a spot for them to put all their stuff. They soon find the perfect spot and set everything up. The boys all run towards the ocean and start swimming. The girls on the other hand were setting up everything
"So Twilight... you and Mordecai?" Rainbow Dash says while stuffing her mouth with the sandwiches Pinkie brought
"What do you mean me and Mordecai?" Twilight says confused
"C'mon he literally snuck you out of your house, we've known him since like 3rd grade and he's never done anything like it" Apple Jack said
"Yeah! what magic spell did you put on him," Rarity giggles
"You guys are delusional we are just...friends" Twilight says while looking at Mordecai and his friends swimming in the ocean.
"GUYS WE LITERALLY CAME HERE TO SWIM WHY AREN'T HALF THE PEOPLE SWIMMING" Beastboy yells from the shore.
"OK FINE WE'RE COMING" Rainbow Dash yells while grabbing Fluttershy's wrist and dragging her to swim with her
"I guess we should all go!" Pinkie says and everyone goes running to the water.
There they were all swimming together under the moonlight. After a while the water starting getting colder
"Guys me and AJ are gonna go now, I'm cold and tired... Bye loves!" Rarity and Apple Jack leave the beach after grabbing their belongings
"Yeah we're gonna go too, Fluttershy is tired" Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy leave as well
"When did she start caring about Fluttershy being tired?" BeastBoy questioned, then they all shrugged it off
Beastboy and Discord left after a little longer as well leaving Twilight and Mordecai. Alone.
"so uh the moon is pretty tonight" Twilight says breaking the silence
"sure is..." Mordecai didn't know what to say because of the random nervousness that consumed his body.
Twilight goes to fidget with her necklace because of the sudden awkward silence coming from the usual talkative boy. She realizes it's not there and starts to panic
"Oh my god no no no no WHERE IS IT" Twilight says frantically looking for her necklace in the water
"Where's what?" Mordecai questioned
"MY NECKLACE I CAN'T LOSE IT, IT'S BEEN IN THE FAMILY FOR GENERATIONS OH MY GOD" Twilight starts to panic more
"It's fine we can find it, it's probably somewhere around here" Mordecai then sees a shimmer in the water due to the moon and dives down to try and reach for it, he grabs it and goes up quickly
"Is this it??" He shows her the necklace
"Yes! Oh my god thank you so much" Twilight hugs Mordecai and he hugs back. The hug soon breaks and his arms fall to her waist, they stare into each others eyes. Before he realizes he is already leaning into Twilight and Twilight mirrors him. They inch closer and closer until their lips soon touch. The kiss started off soft but started to become messy, Mordecai pulls Twilight to his chest leaving no space between them. The sun starts to rise and they quickly pull away from each other realizing that if they don't get home soon Twilight will get in trouble. They quickly rush to the car and speed to Twilight's castle.
"Thank you for tonight"
Before Mordecai can reply Twilight runs off and quickly starts climbing the vines.
