A Drarry Story

Chapter 9

I awoke the next morning to find myself laying kn the sandy floor of the Forbiddon Forest alone may I add. There wasn't a hint that Draco Malfoy had been here last night with me that is until I realized that there was a sweater curled into a ball underneath my head with note beside it. It read 
'Dear Harry,
Sorry i had to leave you there by yourself Blaise wanted us to get to the pitch early this morning so we could warm up before the match( We are just going to go along with the fact that I made Blaise head of the Slytherin team because Idk who it is and I am to lazy to find out). I do expect tou to give my sweater back or else I will set you on fire in your sleep as it is my favourite sweater. Sorry, that was a bit extreme but I do want my sweater back Potter. See you at the match Sleeping Beauty.
Draco
I gulped I better give Draco back his sweater or I know that he will very well kill me because you shouldn't take his threats lightly I thought and holy crap I need to get to the pitch the match is ought to start soon. I scrambled to my feet with Dracos sweater in hand as I sprinted in the direction of the Qudditch pitch. When finally arrived I was out of breath and I found the whole Slytherin team there already and there were a few Gryffindors there getting stuff out and ready. I headed to my locker in the changing room and shoved Dracos sweater inside as I pulled out my robes because I very well couldn't just walk over there and give him his sweater at the moment that would earn me some weird looks for sure. I finally got my robes on as more of the team showed up along with the audience. Once everyone was set we headed out to the pitch to be met with some glares from the Slytheirns and a few not  so friendly comments but really it wasn't as bad as it  usually was. We all mounted our brooms and soared into the sky as Madame Hooch said her usual speech and threw the Quaffle in the air only for it to be caught by Ginny as  she headed towards the goalposts. And it went on like that for ages each team scoring on one another as me and Draco both searched for the snitch. Both our eyes landed on the shiny bugger at the time and we raced towards it. We both  slowly got closer and closer inches away from the snitch both of us so close and I decided to catch him off guard in hopes that it would bring him out of focus and boy did it work. "Hey ferret" I said and sure enough Draco faltered for just a moment but that was enough for me to wrap my fingers around the snitch and for half the stadium to go up on cheers. As we landed Draco mumbled " Cheater" to me as he walked past and I just threw my head back and laughed as my team surrounded my ina big group hug. 
(After the party in the Gryffindor Common room still Harry's POV).
A bit after the party i snuck out to go down to the oak tree that I have been spending most my recent nights at. Earlier when the party was starting to settle down I had gone up to my dorm to get a break from all the noise as I ahve never been one for partys but whatever and j had found Hedwig sitting in the window sill with a letter wrapped around her foot waiting for me. I unraveled the note and It was from Draco asking to meet at the oak tree again tonight. Just thinking about it made me smile. So here I was walking through the Forbiddon forest with his sweater in hand going to meet him. Once I finally got to the tree I found Draco already there figures I thought. Once he heard me approaching he lifted his head up and smiled. I handed him his sweater as I sat down beside him and he mumbked a quick thanks. " So mister oh I am going to cheat in Qudditch how does it feel to win the first match of the season". I snorted "I didn't cheat ferret:"I said using the nickname for him that I used earlier and he just raised an eyebrow at me not believing a word. I just shook my head and chuckled to myself a bit at his childish behaviour" Think I'm funny do you"and that just cracked me up I was laughing so hard that my sides actually began to hurt as those words made me think back to first year and  Draco just looked at me like I was crazy. After a while of me dying of laughter Draco just shook his head and turned to look at the stars but you could see a smile evendent on his face. I finally calmed down and decided to look at the stars with Draco. We just sat there enjoying eachothers company probably for a good hour before Draco broke the silence and said" We should probably head back you know don't want to be falling asleep down here again" I looked over at him and nodded my head as I stood up and offered my hand out to him and he gladly took it as I helped him up and we slowly made our way back to the castle in silence content on just being with each other. We finally reached our destination and said our good nights and went our separate ways and so headed to Gryfindor tower I could feel  the grin on my face as it always was there after i saw Draco. Finally I made it to my bed and I let the thoughts of today play out in my head as I fell asleep.
