With his stories. He'd tell you about places he's been to, books he's read and other things. He can't really stop himself from babbling on and he's thankful that he met you after he grew out of bragging about his medical conditions. He's just that kind of person to constantly overshare in the presence of his crush and then overthink it for the rest of the day

With how strong/fast/sporty he is. At first, it's small, like carrying things for you. But as soon as you encourage him - oh boy. He's the kind of person to repeat something until you acknowledge it, which is pretty much canon. "My team won a basketball match today. Hey, (y/n)! Did you hear my team won? (y/n)? (y/n) today we played basketball and my team won" you get it. Also, he'll carry heavy things in hopes you'll see

Simon🦋
He doesn't. He might do it unknowingly by singing (cause he has a wonderful voice) or saying something smart but he's too anxious to really make a move or try to impress you even. If he works up the courage he might offer to help you academically though, if that counts

Like I mentioned - with his accomplishments. It's like his reasoning for being chief but 10 times more intense. You're now invited to all the religious events his choir sings at (he says he doesn't care if you come but you know he wants you there), you will hear him mention he's head boy at least once a day and so on. If you're in the same class he's going to be such a show-off too, to the point when the teacher will have enough of him, I swear. If you think he wouldn't be the "um actually" kid - you're wrong

With some morbid facts. He's a bit edgy okay? If we're going with the modern AU he might infodump about true crime which can be either really interesting or really offputting, depending on how intense he is with it. If we go with canon times, he definitely showed you some cool gnarly bones of unknown origin. He might also scare kids to entertain you because of course, that's what will win you over

Humour. His idea of impressing you is making you laugh and I don't think he's too bad at it, though I'll let you be the judge of that. His comments might be cheesy at times but he'd really do nearly anything for you to find him amusing. It's not too far off from how he is usually, though his friends would probably catch on soon after his behaviour started, that he likes you
