- very polite about it
- chill

- he's used to positive attention so it's not a big deal
- but he appreciates that you went out of your way to do something nice
- if he's in a more playful mood he might tease you a bit but that's all

Simon🦋
- silent for a second
- but very happy internally
- the whole day he's very cheerful
- smiles a lot and blushes
- tries to return the favour
- thinks about it way too hard
- but at least he's not as incredibly obnoxious as... Some people (*cough* *cough* Piggy)

Jack🎼
- processing...
- tries to act like you just stated the most obvious thing ever
- but he's not nearly as self-assured as he makes himself out to be
- so it sticks with him that you might think so well of him
- very mad at himself for letting it affect him, though

Roger☠️
- slightly surprised
- glances at you as soon as you say it
- a bit flattered
- pretty chill though
- doesn't really acknowledge the compliment
- just goes on with the conversation

Maurice☀️
- very happy
- smiles wide
- compliments you back too
- he just thinks it's very cool of you to be so nice
- kind of cocky in front of the choir
- bc not only is he the first one with a partner but his partner also thinks he's awesome
