Oralie's POV:
I couldn't wait. This was the day of my dreams and my nightmares. My knees wobbled as I thought of what was yet to come. Aanya noticed and transmitted, I can feel your emotions. Don't be nervous, you'll be fine. Think about Kenric. He is so so so so so happy right now. I can feel his emotions right now as well. It's making me want to jump up and down. But actually, think about him. Go get them, Oralie. You can do it.
Okay, now she was acting like Emery, but nicer I guess?
She was right. Once I thought about Kenric, and everything he had done for me, I calmed down just enough to walk outside to the walkway. It was long and white, and then there was a marriage ritual man at the end.
I slowly walked and then I saw Kenric. He looked mostly the same, but his eyes. His eyes were so happy. I was lost in a trance as if we were the only two people on the planet as I moved towards him. He put out his arm and I clutched it like a lifeline, not once losing contact with his eyes. After a few seconds, he started a telepathic conversation with me.
Oralie?
Yes, Kenric?
I... I never anticipated this level of joy in my life. Ever.
Same here. It's all thanks to Aanya that this is happening.
Then, for some reason, Aanya popped into my head.
Um... Thanks? But I still don't get why someone added me to this conversation. Also um... never mind.
Wait, what???!?!?!?!?!?!? Why are you here? This was supposed to be just Oralie and me.
Clearly. Ok, imma block this telepathic conversation, and you two do whatever talking you people need to do byeee.
Once Aanya left, we realized that we were almost to the Marriage Ritual elf and the ceremony was just a few feet away. We closed off the conversation and continued to the wedding area.
We stopped at the end of the walkway and we were told to put our arms on each other's arms. Once we did so, we exchanged vows, and the celebration began. I don't think I let go of Kenric once.
