<Add's POV>
I approached the school I would be going to for the rest of the year. Velder High, huh? I'll be happy as long as no one messes with me or talks to me. Or calls me a white haired, purple eyed freak. I went to the main office to get my schedule and a map, then made my way to my first class, not making contact with anyone or anything, keeping my head down. I stopped in front of the door that would be my English class. Taking a deep breath, I opened the door and walked in.
Twenty or so heads all turned to look at me. I saw some people start to whisper.
"Oh, you must be the new student," the teacher said warmly. "Why don't you introduce yourself to the class?" I nodded and turned toward everyone.
"Hello, my name is Add Kim, and I transferred here from Feita Secondary School. It's nice to meet you all."
The teacher smiled warmly at me. "Well my name is Miss Vanessa if you have any questions feel free to ask me! Now then, you'll need a guide around the school..." She began, and everyone started shaking their heads no. Figures. I'm a weirdo that no one wants to hang out with.
"Ara, why don't you be Add's guide for today?"
A girl with all sorts of ornaments in her raven-colored looked up from the book she was reading, confused then realizing what the teacher had said.
"Oh! Sure!" She said, smiling at me. Hmph, looked fake to me. I managed to smile back and then took the seat next to her. As I was working, I snuck a peek at Ara. She looked somehow familiar in a way... Ah, it's just my imagination. Ara turned to look at me.
"Add, right? Cool name! So what do you like to do? Do you go to clubs? Are you going to go for class favorite? Maybe class clown?"
Jeez, this girl sure loves to ask questions.
"Um, well... I'm not a fan of being the center of attention..." I say with a frown. Ara looked surprised for a second, them smiled with agreement. "Yeah, me neither. I hate being mobbed by people in my opinion, it gets annoying after awhile.. Oh! Can I see your schedule?" I nod and give her the paper.
"Hey! We have almost every class together! Even gym!" She said. I was going to say something, but the bell rang for the next period. I got up from my seat, gathered my stuff, and headed out the door, only to be stopped by Ara.
"C'mon Add, our class is this way!" She said dragging me with her.
This is going to be a weird first day...
