Clay
Are you ready yet? I'm outside waiting for u.
George
Yep, coming now.
He still hasn't told me where we are going, he said he wants to keep it as a surprise. George smiled to himself as he locked his door, then making his way to Clay's car. "Come on Clay, just tell me where we're going this late at night!" George questioned the tall boy as he slammed the passenger door. "Nope, you got this far George, why would you want to know now?" Clay started driving in a unknown direction. "You'll find out soon though." Clay smiled smugly at George. George chuckled back "Ok then..." What is this mystery spot?

"Ok George, we're here!" George impatiently tried to peek outside, but before he could catch even a glimpse, Clay offered him something. "What is that?" George looked at the fluffy black piece of fabric in the dirty-blonde haired boys hand. He wheezed as he handed it to George "It's a blind-fold silly, put it on." Clay urged. "Ok fine." George rolled his eyes before exiting the car and putting on the blind-fold. "Now, follow me, I'll lead you to where we need to go." The brunette heard the voice (that he knew was Clay) say. "Clay remember, I trust you!" He heard Clay wheeze. "Hey! Don't laugh at me!" Gorge smiled to himself. Clay took the brunette's hand into his own as they started walking. George took small, cautious steps forward until he heard Clay say- "You can take of the blind-fold now." George let go of Clay's hand to take of the blind-fold, just to be greeted by one of the most beautiful sights he ever saw. A dark but delightful lake shined in the light of the full moon. Weeping willows leaning towards the body of water. A cluster of fireflies were hovering around the little wooden paddle boat. George stood there, taking in the beautiful scenery, his eyes wide, mouth agape. "You like it?" Clay asked with a mesmerizing smile. George smiled back at him. He didn't know what to say. "I-I... this is beautiful." Those were all the words George could manage at the moment. "I'm glad you like it. Now, shall we?" The tall boy asked the older, gesturing at the boat. "Yes, come on get in!" George spoke with a obvious note of excitement in his voice. Clay chuckled as he followed George into the boat, beginning to row after he got in. George was still amazed at the beauty of this place, so he was just looking around as they slowly made their way to the middle of the lake. "Told you we would be here alone." "I can see that, but how is it so empty? And how did you even find this place?" George was confused. This is the perfect spot for couples to be out on dates, or even just a night-time getaway, but yet this place was empty. "Well, I was driving past here one day, and I caught a glimpse of the lake shining in the sun, so I decided to stop and check it out. There weren't many people there, as they probably drove past and thought it was just a regular park, which there are many of here." Clay explained as they finally made it to the middle of the lake. "Ok then, lets take a better look around." George stood up slowly to examine his surroundings. He looked up at the shimmering fireflies, but in the process he lost his balance, almost tumbling into the dark lake, which looked like it could swallow him whole. "Ack!" George screamed, but before his body hit the water, he was tugged back onto the boat, ending up laying on top of Clay. Both of their nervousness coated the air. Realization struck George, he had fallen for Clay, literally and figuratively. I'm gay. I'm gay I'm gay I'm gay! He's wonderful. I'm in love!

As Clay stared into Georges dark brown eyes, he finally admitted his feeling to himself. I love him! I'm in love with my neighbor. I'm gay. There is no hiding it now. Not from myself, not from anyone. But of course not one of them spoke. It must be too awkward for him to speak. He is literally laying on top of me. "Thanks. For taking me here, I mean. And catching me, you know." George blurted out as he made an attempt to clamber of off Clay. Oh never mind, I guess I'm the awkward one! "Clay sat back up and responded, never taking his eyes of George. "No problem. It's an amazing night today after all." But what if George doesn't like me? Oh no. Clay pushed that question away, deciding to think about it as soon as he got home.
