I put the dress in the hallway closet so Dorian doesn't find it. I don't want him to see it yet.

I walk to our bedroom and see Dorian get ready. He's wearing another fancy black suit with his hair looking tousled.

"Where are you going, Dorian?"

He turned around in shock and smiled as he walked towards me.

"We've been invited to Harry's party. I'm glad you're home early."

"Oh... what time does it start?"

"Three."

"Alright. I'll get ready."

Of course, Henry is throwing a party. I wanted to spend some quality time with Dorian for the day. Seems like that's not gonna happen.

I put on a little makeup and fixed my hair. I'm wearing red lipstick for the first time in forever. The last time was when I was 12 playing dress-up.

(Imagine her dress however you want. Feel free to comment what you imagine it as!)

I went to the bedroom and Dorian was all ready to go. He looked at my lips like they were a freshly baked apple pie.

"You look divine Darling, your lips are hypnotic." He complimented.

"Thanks, Cupcake."

"Cupcake? Is that your attempt at a cute nickname?"

"Hey, I wanted something special! Cupcakes are delicious."

"I don't know about cupcake darling..."

"Aww... then what should your nickname be?"

"I wouldn't be opposed to the nickname, Daddy,"

"Oh in your dreams Loverboy!"

"They always are."

"DORIAN!!!" I laughed.

I walked down the stairs slowly because of my heels.

"Need some help?"

"I got it. It's just these heels."

"Cmon Darling let me help."

"Have you always been this chivalrous?"

"Yes."

"Alright, you can help."

He lifts me gently and carries me down the staircase. On the floor, he sets me down and smiles.

"Thank you noble sir for your courtesy," I say, in a strong accent.

"No problem Darling," he chuckled.

We walk to the car and drive to Henry's house. I didn't want to go to Henry's but I didn't want to complain.

Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on Henry. Maybe he isn't so bad. And maybe everything that happened was just a big misunderstanding.

Or maybe he's a psychopath who treats women badly and wants to ruin my future marriage!

Yea I'm overthinking this. Harry is Dorian's friend. I'm sure he wants the best for him.

We pull and get inside. It looks like a big party. We go inside and see Henry

He has a glass of wine in his hand. We both grab a glass as well and head over. Dorian's arm locks with mine as we walk. Eyes on us like we're some royal couple.

"Hello Dorian, I didn't think you'd show up."

"Of course I'd show up. You're one of my closest friends."
