"I thought we're only getting Luis back?"
The whole squad feels like some strict parents who has their hands on their hips, while you were their daughter and Levi was your suitor.
They're still upset about the things he said back in the hospital because he was defending Petra over you and the squad.
"I want him to stay." You were a bit shock when Luis said that, you guess he already forgave him.
You are happy when you saw Luis in the arms of Levi, although you became silent when he came all the way here. To be honest, Luis was clinging on him since you left the park to go home.
Is it perhaps he doesn't want him to leave again?
"He might have something important to do, let him go home." Mikasa said.
But Luis shakes his head, "No, he's staying.."
"Me and Luis are going to have a little chat.. so if you don't mind.." Levi was basically telling you all to leave, for them to have a conversation of their own.
You are curious, you want to know and listen. But when the squad sigh and left the living room, you didn't have any choice but to follow them.
You all gathered in the kitchen, munching the sponge cake Kylie has baked while you guys were out looking for Luis.
"I don't know what's his deal, but aren't you scared that he might just suddenly take Luis without us knowing?" Connie made you overthink, he does make a lot of sense.
Levi can be sneaky as a fox, "Maybe?" You shrugged.
But Connie sigh, "This is why you should have trust issues sometimes."
"I wanted to trust Levi, I know he wouldn't do that.. he doesn't want Luis to be upset again." You answered.
"Yeah, but you don't know what's going on inside his head. What the hell do he care if he's upset? As long as he gets what he wants."
"Connie, I don't wanna argue with you.. please, if you're angry to Levi.. I am too, but we just have to trust him.. he won't do that."
"So you're telling me, we just bumped into you and then we decided to take you home?" Levi's brows were lifted after Luis shares the story on how you guys met him.
"Nope! More like, mommy only wants to take me home.. after that we go and get ice cream and went home." He smiled, it seems like Luis has already forgotten what happened earlier.
"Okay? And what makes you say that me and that woman are in love?"
"Because you agree to go to the zoo with us." Levi face palmed, he doesn't even remember any zoo experience with this kid.
"You even wanted to show off on her school, then you got angry when that blonde guy was talking to her... you wont even let her go and beg for more cuddles while you're sleeping.." he continues.
"You're kidding me." Levi was in shock.
"I am not, I can tell auntie Sasha to hand me a copy of a photo of you guys together."
"YOU HAVE A PHOTO OF US CUDDLING?"
"Well, yes.." he smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "But that is not the point, the point is.. you're in love with mommy now."
"I still need confirmation from myself. I will not consider her as my woman not until I saw those scenarios flashing inside my head." Guess his heart was only for Petra..
Levi's Point Of View.
I smiled as I brushed my sons hair back, once he nodded after hearing the word I said. He then went to hug me which to be honest.. melted my heart.
My eyes landed on the direction of their kitchen, where I last saw Y/n. Then I gaze back to Luis, clinging on me.
I sigh. I know Luis, I know every single thing.. I remember every single details and memories I made with you and your mother.
But I don't wanna risk it, it's better of to make you guys believe that I really have amnesia.. even if it means to be hated by all of you.. but I know to myself that I'm doing this for your sake.
Flash back.. (before the explosion)
"You're going to die here with me, rat!" Kenny was out of his mind when he suddenly grabbed me by my collar, causing me to be stuck with him.
He was holding a fucking grenade in his hand, and I know what's going to happen next..
I didn't respond, knowing that me staying here will buy them more time to escape.
"Now that we're both going to die.. it's going to be a bitch since Petra will never succeed to her dumb plan."
"Petra?" I was stunned when he mentioned that woman's name.
"Correct, Don't think she's out of your life for good. She'll kill your girlfriend soon.. so disposing you here will make it easier for her to do so.. it was all part of her plan."
My eyes widen, I thought she's completely out of my life for good. I thought she's already dead, turns out she was working with this motherfucker.
I shoved him away, I need to survive this to protect my family.. Y/n and Luis.. my promise to my son.. I cannot let him down.
But I was too late, my sight was instantly covered with flames as I heard a loud explosion that made my ears bleed as everything just turned into black.
I woke up with a loud yelling, soon enough I realized that I survived.. wait, I already know I survived, Kylie saved me.
My eyes slightly opened, and the first person I saw was Petra, she was arguing with the squad and Y/n. And that's when it hit me.
The idea suddenly came inside my head, so I acted as if I don't know what's going on..
It hurts saying those, it hurts calling her that name. It hurts telling the whole squad to leave. Y/n's expression and Luis' cries.. they break me.
Soon after, I finally saw them come out of the house. They were on their way to the park. I also noticed someone following me, probably Petra's men.
It disgusts me being with her. But it will ruin the plan if I show it. But I promised myself, that I will never touch any woman but the woman I love.
I took the opportunity of Jean leaving them to approach Luis and Y/n. Luis was basically scared of me, but I have to act it out since I am being watched.
"It's not miss Petra who you love. It's her! It's this woman right here, my mommy!"
I know kiddo, I know.
I wasn't careful of my act, and caused Luis to run away. I panicked, but I have to act well.. I saw how terrified Y/n's expression is.
I wanted to kneel down to her and apologize, I want to hug her.. I wanted to be with her.. but that's not going to happen until Petra's gone.
Pretending to not remember her and being with Petra is my plan, I don't want to risk any squad members, because if I told them what Kenny told me.. they'll help me, I don't want that.. I don't want to loose another member.
"This is your fault! This is all your fucking fault! If something happened to my Luis.. I will never forgive you, even if you got your memories back.. I will hate you until my last breath."
Her words felt like knives stabbing me multiple times.. but this is for your safety.. for you and our sons..
