ONE

april 10th, 2019

THE AIRPLANE SHOOK as it prepared for landing. natalia sucked on a mint to prevent her ears from popping. she looked around the cabin, babies crying, an old couple conversing, a middle aged woman reading a book, all these people with different lives. different reasons for landing in charleston. maybe the baby was meeting their grandparent. maybe the old couple was going to a wedding. maybe the woman was getting a divorce. there was one thing that was certain for natalia in that moment, charleston was going to change her life drastically.

"now landing in charleston, south carolina",,the intercom rang out as tal smiled, going over her characters synopsis.

-feels out of place with her friends

-more than friends with jj, though she doesn't want a relationship

-both parents are deceased

-lives with her uncle, a drug dealer that sells to rafe, a stereotypical bad boy

-marie slowly starts to fall for rafe

natalia couldn't wait to see where marie was going to take her. every character has changed her and her outlook on life so she was intrigued to see how marie would change her. the plane bumped onto the tarmac, finally coming to a halt. she yanked her airpods out and stood up, the adrenaline and excitement making her stomach do somersaults, a fun yet sickly side affect of getting a new project.

the airport was bustling with people rushing to and from terminals. natalia's head turning left and right to grab her bearings. she looked down at her phone, texting the person that was supposed to show her to her hotel and give her information she needed for the table read the next day.

amidst the bustling crowd, natalia finally saw the petit woman holding up a sign that said her name. tal power-walked over to the smiley girl, her suitcase dragging behind her.

"hey, you must be natalia wilson, im cora, the directors assistant",,the doe eyed girl said as natalia approached her. tal took a sigh of relief, "ah, hi cora, its so nice to meet you!",,tal's kind words put a huge smile on cora's face.

the tall blonde followed cora through the airport, adrenaline pumping through her veins as she imagined how much fun she would have with her new cast, her new family. as they hopped into the black range rover, natalia pictured what her castmates would look like, who she would be partnered with. then she started to question if they were good people or if she wold actually get along with them.

anxiety started to build up, another side affect of getting a new project with a fresh new cast.

"have you met anyone else in the cast?',,natalia finally asked cora while they were climbing out of the car. cora turned her head to look at natalia while yanking a bag out of the trunk of the car, a comforting look in her eyes.

"i have but unfortunately, i can't tell you much about them, all i can tell you is, i know for a fact that you'll love them",,natalia didn't know how to react to this information, the unknown scares her but the fact that cora said that she will love them makes her feel alright.

ahh, this was such a small chapter but its just the beginning!

i just wanted to get the first chapter out so you could all see it and let me know what you think, its a lot different than what im used to.

ive actually got a face claim! a lot of people like my books because they don't have a specific face claim but for a celeb book, i thought that i should have one. i am absolutely in love with olivia scott welch so i obviously had to choose her. a lot of the instagram posts won't necessarily be olivia but just some random blonde from pinterest (like the post above) or ill put my editing skills to the test.

i have so many plot ideas for more obx books so keep your eye out for them!
