NATALIA SHUFFLED IN THE BED, woken by the sound of something buzzing. she sat up and yawned, rubbing her eyes and scanned the room. natalia was never a morning person. the source of the buzzing came from her phone, her alarm. she stretched and walked to the bathroom. still with a toothbrush in her mouth, nat walked around the room, getting out the clothes she wanted to wear. a sticky note was left on the dressing table, her eyebrows knitted together in confusion. she picked it up and read it.

your castmates will be having breakfast downstairs at 10am, be yourself, they will love you                         ~  cora ♡

she smiled as she read the note, she could already tell that her and cora are going to be great friends. she grabbed her phone to check the time. 9:50. shit. that was all she needed to wake her up. she ran into the bathroom and spat out her toothpaste and forced her jeans on. pulling on her sweater and putting on her socks, natalia's heart was racing. she flung her bag over her shoulder and raced to the door, making sure to spray deodorant and perfume before opening the door.

taking a deep breath as she closed the door, natalia turned around and almost walked into somebody. nat took a step back and apologised, looking over at the other girl with her hands full, clearly struggling to close the door, "hey, let me help you",,natalia smiled as she closed the woman's door for her and held her coffee while she organised all of her things, "thank you so much, you're an angel",,the girl thanked natalia, "if it wasn't for you i would've been even more late for breakfast, i was supposed to be there at ten and its already ten past and there's people waiting for me",,the girl rambled as natalia realised that she could be part of the cast, "im supposed to be meeting people for breakfast at ten too",,natalia smirked, the other girl caught on, "oh my god! im so happy i'm not the only one that's going to be late, my names madelyn by the way but you can call me maddy",,madelyn laughed and the two made their way down the stairs. a sigh of relief escaped nat's mouth, she was happy that she had finally met a co-star and even happier that she seemed friendly.

the two breathlessly stumbled down the last few stairs, leaning over and grabbing their knees to catch their breath when they got to the bottom, "i told you we should've took the elevator",,maddy panted, they both stood straight and looked over at the cafe part of the hotel, scanning all the tables until they saw a group of people around their own age, "do you think that's them?",,natalia asked, scared to just sit down with them, in case they were just a random group of friends, "i don't know, only one way to find out",,maddy laughed as she practically skipped towards the large table. natalia took a deep breath and followed her hesitantly.

"hey",,maddy sang gleefully, a smile stretching from ear to ear, multiple hey's and hello's came from around the table, "i'm maddy",,she smiled as she introduced herself, she turned around to look at me, her friendly smile turning into a reassuring one, "and i'm natalia",,she finally says, looking around to make out what kind of people she's working with. that's when she sees someone she recognised, he seemed to recognise her too, his eyes said so anyway. natalia made her way to the empty seat beside him and maddy took the empty seat next to a curly haired girl.

"drew! it's good to see you again",,natalia laughed as she gave him a friendly hug. everyone's attention was on them, the two looked back to see everyone's confused faces, "how do you two know each other?",,a blonde haired guy asked, pointing at them, "i dated a guy that was in a movie with drew, i was on set a lot so i naturally became friends with everyone",,natalia explained while reaching for a croissant, "you and nick broke up?",,drew asked, giving the girl a sympathetic look, "it was a mutual break up, we are still friends",,natalia smiled

"what character is everyone playing by the way",,the blonde spoke up, natalia soon learnt that his name was rudy. everyone went around and explained who they were playing, when drew said he was playing rafe, natalia was confused, the name was familiar, she then remembered her character synopsis.

a small smile crawled onto natalia's face. her and drew are going to be around each other a lot. natalia couldn't help but get excited.
