'How can it not irritate you?' Her eyes welled up with tears as she tugged on her bubblegum pink hair. 'You-you're her friends, people you'd think would protect her name!' She exclaimed, pointing to the guilty and frightened expressions on her friends' faces.
'I understand you're unhappy, but beating up someone over things you know aren't true makes it appear as though the perpetrators were correct,' Sero said, his hand resting reassuringly on Mina's shoulders.
'If you're here, you must have some news.' 'Tell me she's alive,' Mina shrugged, moving back to face the two men in front of her. Sero and Bakugou exchanged glances of dissatisfaction. The people in front of the pink-haired girl breathed uneasily. They hadn't communicated with one other as they awaited the outcome of (Name). The overpowering sense of sadness, as well as the volume of ideas that consumed them, had a significant impact on their lives. Dark gloomy clouds suddenly covered the horizon, as if Mina's emotions had taken possession of the planet. As shivers crept across her skin, a loud roar of thunder rumbled.
Sero took a deep breath, bracing himself for the inevitable reaction.
Hanahaki is..
an illness brought on by unrequited love.'Because this had been drawn out for so long, the thorns and veins had coiled around her lungs. '(Name) required emergency surgery,' he explained. Mina's hands shook as she held it to to her mouth. Her tears eventually flowed down her cheek. Denki, who was leant on his desk behind her, pinched his brows and turned aside. Their hearts were torn, their brains were racing, and despite the fact that their skin was chilly, they continued to sweat. 'She made it through the procedure.' Sero exhaled, followed by relieved sighs from everyone else.
Bakugo, though, remained still. His expression remained unchanged, his arms folded, and his head lowered. Kirishima, who had seen his behaviour, approached the melancholy blond, smiling and perplexed. He was perplexed as to why he wasn't as joyful as others were. Perhaps it was the tremendous sense of remorse and self-blame he felt. As he looked around, Eijirou noted that Sero's expression remained unchanged.
'Hey, dude, I've got some wonderful news for you.. They saved her.' He talked quietly to his companion. Bakugo didn't push him away or say anything snide. He just stood there.
'The harm wasn't limited to her lungs.' Sero cut them off in the middle of their ecstasy. Their smiles faltered. 'The tumour that caused everything was in her head. It spread all over her body They pulled it out just in time, however...'
'But what?' Denki answered. Sero raised his head with surprise. He noticed and watched his buddies' frantic expressions. Their eyes welled up with tears, their lips open, and their skin gleaming against the lights. Sero had only recently begun to crumble.
Aizawa spoke with the two heroes in the car before they arrived. Shota was concerned about them and the sick girl. His students, who had so much promise and strength, were doomed. He can't help but care for them, despite the fact that he's simply someone who should be guiding them towards their future hero professions. The link they'd formed over the course of nearly two years was not frail.
Eijirou Kirishima. His student who didn't believe in himself. With the help of his buddies, he developed in strength. But Shota was aware that his self-confidence would be shattered if anything outside his control was the one to ruin it. The training grounds were always demolished immediately before curfew. Thumps and fists were hurled at his bedroom, keeping pupils, including Shota, awake at obscene hours.
"Sero-kun..?" Eijirou mumbled.
Denki Kaminari Someone you'd never expect to see so shattered and damaged. Every day, his smile fades. Every training would be as bad as the last one. He's brain-dead and physically destroyed. He projected far more electricity than normal as a coping tactic. To cease remembering and seeing everyone's faces. To merely wake up at the nurse's office and go back to sleep. His customary class clown energy, which energised the class, was evaporated.
"Oi... just spit it out already," he says. Denki's speech was hoarse, and the bags beneath his eyes weighed him down.
Mina Ashido, Anyone would be lucky to have such a supportive and lively person as a friend. Her grin could brighten up any gloomy room, and she is the go-to person for guidance. Shota's most trustworthy and well-liked student. She'd still do her best to console others when they were in need, but in truth, she's alone. Every day, Aizawa witnesses her abandoning her education and hero training. Most of the time, he'd see her fail and zone out. Nonetheless, he did not blame her or become irritated with her.
Kyouka Jirou. She had always been a reserved student. She only spoke up when she felt it was essential. Her performance in the previous year's 'Hero too' gave her confidence a boost. Her emotions were reflected in tunes that were well received by everybody. Though it feels like she's reverted to the reserved, insecure girl she was a year ago. She didn't say anything or create a fuss. Jirou believed it wasn't her place to respond because she wasn't particularly connected to (Name). They were in the same social circle, but they didn't discuss personal matters. But she knew that once (Name) was gone, everything would be different. When they all got together, everything seemed so normal. It seemed as though she'd been that way her entire life. Kyouka tried to remain calm throughout this period, but every night she buried herself in music to block out everyone's sorrows, including her own.

The hush before the sound is a peaceful space between now and then, their final moment of uncertainty before the sowing of whatever comes next.

'(Name) is currently..in a vegetative condition,' Sero's voice cracked as he shifted his gaze away from his friends. Visible tears caressed his cheek as he frantically brushed them away. Then there was more silence. The sun's beams illuminating everyone's figure. Their long, narrow distorted shadows lay still in front of them.Mina's hands uncurled as she allowed them to rest. Denki bowed his head and pinched his brows as he glanced at his own sweating palms in front of him. Kyouka sighed as her imprisoned tears finally broke free, allowing her emotions and defences to crumble, leaving her in a truly vulnerable mental state for the first time. Bakugou moved away from everyone, his salty tears pouring through his black skull top. Kirishima wailed, rubbing his nose, ears, and school clothes with his hands.
They are allowing the darkness to overwhelm them. The light is being let go. Allowing themselves to surrender in the face of adversity. Allowing evil to infiltrate their spirit. They were allowing the light to escape. Allowing Kirishima to gradually fall beneath the surface. Denki was defeated by allowing life to triumph. Allowing darkness to merge with their soul. Sero's thoughts vanished as the light vanished. Allowing Bakugou to plunge into the depths.
Do you hear them pleading? God, God, do you hear them pleading? They are trapped in this abyss of sin and evil. Their hands and feet are tied together. There is no sound coming from Jirou's mouth. Bakugou is crushed by his own remorse and humiliation. Can you hear Mina? Do you hear her cries? In this valley of sorrow, she is lamenting and wailing. God, in your infinite kindness, save them.
Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!!
