After his return from Diagon alley, it didn't take long for months to pass by. Zeke spent most of his time reading all the books from school, no matter how boring they were, no matter how much he wanted to throw the books out of the window -- yes, he read all of the books, including Lockhart's autobiographies and tales, all of them were written the same way, not exploring any different techniques, all of them followed the same pattern and all of them had the same plotholes as others had. Zeke wondered if no one actually caught how dumb the timeline of events was, Zeke insisted on reading them first, it made for a horrible first month of being a mage, don't get him wrong, the books were helpful, containing the weaknesses of the monsters he slew, but it was written like overcompensation for the boring story -- all noted down at the last few pages.

Apart from the bore that was Lockhart's books, Zeke managed to also read the rest of the books given to him by Hogwarts, they were fascinating, his favorite being Newt Scamander's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It wasn't the best writing Zeke's seen, however, it wasn't meant to be a tale either, so unlike Lockhart's books it was more fun to read, it was essentially a mini-biography on every single magic beast, accompanied by several weaknesses and strengths also. Zeke was fascinated by all of it, from goblin to eastern dragons it had a bit of everything in them.

It was finally time to leave for Hogwarts, Zeke hugged everyone in the orphanage, giving them his signature bright smile before leaving for King's Cross Station. His glasses were on, the Monado was hanging from his neck, and he had all of his luggage on a cart which he dragged to through the station. Now, Zeke had been given a letter by professor McGonagall to where he had to go -- but he wondered where platform 9 ¾ would be. Zeke knew the train had to contain some sort of magic otherwise regular people -- or muggles rather -- could mistakingly enter the magic school, however, he wasn't too certain where he was supposed to go.

He sighed and took off his glasses. Immediately he could see the magic in the train station, different people carried different auras of energy around them -- something he correlated with magic. He looked left and right, staring at a train in the station covered in magic but couldn't find where it might be. He was getting slightly frustrated and his eyes slightly dry from not blinking for a long period of time.

"Hello," he heard someone say from behind him. Zeke turned around and saw an officer in the station, he was a large man with a thick mustache, "Are you lost, boy?"

Zeke stared at the officer and then shook his head, Zeke processed the sudden situation he was in -- he couldn't add anything further from No due to a possible following question, so he just turned around and walked away, pretending he knew where he was going. Zeke sighed and looked through his letter again -- he re-read it carefully, he was certain that it was platform 9 ¾, most would question why someone with photographic memory would do that since he should remember exactly every word in that letter -- however if you misinterpret what is in the letter, then you'll just remember erroneous information, leading to an annoying sequence of events. Of course, this rarely happened to Zeke, he had a great understanding of books and possible wordings, so it was extremely rare for it to happen.

Zeke continued looking around, his eyes darting from the right and left, eventually he found himself in front of a large bricked pillar, together with another formed arch between platforms 9 and 10, and Zeke couldn't believe his eyes, in front of him was some sort of vortex. He walked behind the pillar to understand what was happening, however, the back of the pillar was completely normal, he walked back to where he was before and stared at the pillar with his eyes, 'is there something on the other side?' he questioned feeling almost forced to go up to the pillar and touch it with the palm of his hand.

From behind him, he heard a faint warcry. Zeke -- slightly bothered by the sudden scream turned around and saw a boy at least three years older than him rush past him and head towards the pillar, straight to the vortex. Zeke stretched out his arm, but before he could say anything he saw the boy go through the vortex. 'Surely he saw the vortex,' thought Zeke, putting his glasses back on, the vortex disappeared as the darkness from the glasses covered his six eyes.
