"Well...we'll have to travel without a base camp for a while, so it might take months before I'll be able to return." He then looks at Aristia softly, "So I won't be able to write letters that often."

You heard a crack at the response you got. "Oh god I just made it worst!! Why did I even think that I could be funny!" You scream to yourself. As you went full on panic mode.
"Hmm? Did you say something Allendis?" Aristia asks suddenly as you look at Allendis with anime teary eyes.
Allendis didn't response, instead he walk towards Aristia leaning in closely,

You gasp. The audacity of this man to be kissing Aristia in front of you! Couldn't he have bother to at least make sure you weren't looking before kissing her forehead?! You scrunch up your nose in disgust and quickly turn away to give them some privacy.
It was the least you could do for the both of them, especially Allendis. After all, while he was gone Aristia would be meeting a new guy. Who would fall in love...with her.
