She shoved her thoughts to the back of her mind, her face brighter, and her smile wider than Aristia could ever have with Allendis. "Of course Carsein, do come in." she quickly replies.

Carsein steps into the room and awkwardly stands in front of the now-shut door. Noticing this [Y/N] chuckles, "What are you doing Carsein? You're being so awkward right now."

The red-headed boy was stiff for a bit before completely relaxing in front of the younger twin and sighing. "Haa...I don't know what's going on with me. I keep thinking about this one person and I just completely forget everything else..." Carsein starts saying then, completely trailing off keeping his thoughts. [Y/N]'s heart quickens at his confession, part of her hopes that he is talking about her but the bigger part of her knows that he's talking about Aristia.

[Y/N] scoffs helplessly at the love triangle or is it square? and looks at Carsein one more time. His swoopy, soft red hair and his eyes...just as blue as the bright sky. His hands filled with calluses just prove his determination and hardworking nature. It makes her heart swell with adoration and just pure love for the goofy, funny, adorable, tsundere boy right in front of her. His smile that's just so– so infectious. [Y/N] coughs, "So you must really like this girl huh?" she teases. 'OMG, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? ARE YOU TRYNA GET HIM TO FALL WITH ARISTIA MORE YOU STUPID BIT—'

"Like her? Nah she's just...a really interesting girl." Carsein shrugs. 'OMG HE DIDN'T EVEN LIKE HER YET AND WE ALREADY INSERTED THE THOUGHT INSIDE HIS BRAIN!!!' [Y/N]'s brain was in alarm mode yet she somehow still made things worse for herself. "You don't like her? It sounds like you do." 'omg, what are you saying!? shut up already!' she screams at herself, internally crying and desperately wanting to deep a hole right there and then.

Carsein laughs at the girl's words, "PFFTT– you seriously think I'm in love with her? No way in hell." [Y/N] only rolled her eyes at his words cause sooner or later he's gonna regret saying that. "Yeah sure, anyway why did you come over?" she asks. "Oh right, I almost forgot again. Mom told me that you are welcome over any time." he quickly passes the message. Then he stares at [Y/N] and the girl slowly shrinks in size from his strong stare. "Why are you–"

"Here take this." Carsein quickly took the girl's hand and slapped a brooch on her hand. "If the guards won't let you in despite you telling them you're allowed, show them this," he says looking proud at what he's done. "Alright! I'm done with everything I need to do, so I'll see you around at my place. It's been great talking to you [Y/N] but I gotta go before Mom screams my head off. See ya around!" Carsein quickly says before dashing out the door.

[Y/N] stares as his figure leaves the room and the door shut before looking down at her hand with the brooch. It was his family crest...a sign that you are either a part of the family or have been approved by them. So was Carsein giving her his appreciation as a friend or...was it something much deeper? She had yearned for it to have a deeper meaning but she knew not to think too much and safely keep it in her secret box. Closing it like how she decides to keep this feeling close to herself forever.
