I can't win

Emeralds Pov
"Morning" said Tom as I opened my eyes. I was snuggled into his chest. I reluctantly let go and sat up. I groaned.
"What time is it?" I said rubbing my eyes.
"It's 9am, we slept though yesterday"
"Jet lags a bitch, uhh I'm starving"
"Let's get some breakfast"
I nodded and followed tom into the kitchen where sonja was sat.
"You two finally awake?" Asked sonja as we sat down.
"Yeah" I said smiling "but hungry".
"Here" said tucker putting a plate of buttered toast in front of me and Tom.
"Thankyou" I said quietly.

After breakfast all sat around the table.

"So guys, how do you feel about a New Years party. Invite like every one"
"Fuck yes gunna get smashed" said Tom laughing.
"Sound great" I said smiling.
"Perfect" said sonja

31th of December
"We're going to get ready" said sonja grabbing my hand.
"It's 4 hours till people arrive" said tucker next to tom. Me and sonja have them the 'seriously' look.
"3 of them hours is how long it will take to get ready" I said filling sonja up the stairs to her room.

"Okay so, what you gunna wear" said sonja opening her wardrobe.
"I don't own any dress"
"You can borrow one of mine"
"Thankyou" I said smiling "but which one.
About an 2 hours of trying on every dress later me and sonja finally picked out outfit. She had a purple dress and I had a white one. We spent 2 more hours on hair, make up and accessories. When I say that I mean sonja doing mine and me trying to away.

Finally ready with an hour to spare. We walked down stairs to see tom and Tucker waiting. They'd set everything up. Got loads of drinks ready.
"Hey" I said walking toward Tom with sonja close behind me.
"Uhh... I....wow" he said checking me out.
"Stop drooling Tom" said sonja. We all laughed and Tom went red. Tucker gave tom and sonja the evils.
"You look nice, Tucker" said sonja.
"Thankyou, you both look beautiful" he said smiling taking sonja's hand pulling her into the living room.
Leaving me and Tom stood there kind of awkward.
"You like my dress then?" I joked.
"Yeah, well on you anything can look beautiful" he said smiling.

9:45 people begin to arrive.
Music is blasting, drinks are flowing. Every one is already drunk.

10:30
Place is packed full of people.
I'm on dancing with tom.
"Emerald, you really do look beautiful" said Tom.
"Thankyou"
"Emerald I've been wanting to do this for ages" he said leaning forward. I lent in two, our lips were about to touch when...
"TOM!" I heard Tucker scream.
We jumped apart.
Tucker pushed Tom of me.
"I told you to stay away from her!" He said punching tom.
"Let's take this out side" said Tom dragging Tucker by the ear out the door then he jumped on Tucker. I ran out.
"Stop it!" I screamed trying to pull tom of. It didn't work they continued to punch and kick each other. I managed to jump in the middle of the both. When, whack,Tucker punch me in the face. My vision went fuzz then black.
"Emerald" shouted tom and feel on the floor.
I gained my vision back.
I hugged tom tight, his face was cut and he had blood dripping from his nose. I looked over to see sonja cleaning up Tucker who had smiler injuries.
Tom helped me up. I grabbed his hand and pulled him over to Tucker.
"Right we are sorting this once and for all." I tuned to Tucker "Tucker it's my life, my choice my mistakes. I know I'm like a sister to you but I'm not a little girl anymore. "I turned back to tom "As for you, what we had-- what we might have had can't happen. I was really starting to like yo-- but It caused to much hurt. I can't do it. I'm so sorry. No matter what I do I hurt someone."

Tears were streaming down my face. I ran into the house, most people had left, I went straight to my room. I sat on my bed and hugged my legs. Why is my life so messed up. Why does this shit happen to me. If I get with tom I'll upset Tucker but if I do what Tucker says I'll upset tom. I can't win. I'm just going to avoid the both of them for as long as I can.
