The wrecked Great Hall looked like a battlefield littered with debris and devastation, house-elves running briskly everywhere with brooms in their hands and reconstruction incantations in their lips. He turned and looked at an old house-elf who was toiling on straightening a crooked punch spoon and thought to himself that the combination of hormone-filled teenage wizards, dubious potions and an end-of-year prom would probably always lead to such catastrophes... As Argus Filch told him that day - it was obviously a mistake to approve, luckily it was over without any casualties, he sighed and turned to his office at the tower.

Maybe the act is over but our story is merely beginning, let's continue to the next chapter and go back half an hour ago when the commotion just started...
