I Love My Best Friend

Chapter 33

It wasn't so big of a deal because Alex and Grace took years to come down. When all of a sudden I heard a bang on the door, I looked around to see who was it. I took on my feet and ran for the door when suddenly from nowhere Grace came and pushed me elsewhere and opened the door. Never mind.

Edward stood in his light blue, loose, shirt which was looking good on him because of the tie he wore. It actually looked like he came from work. Grace was staring at him like he was some trophy. "Hey." She said in a seductive tone. "Andrea!" He ignored her. "Yes?" I said walking in front of him. "Breakfast?" He said smiling. I leaned forward and kissed him.

"Guys..." Grace interrupted us. "Not a good place to kiss." She said laughing. We broke apart, "Aw Grace Alex is here you may go look for him." I said in a sarcastic sweet way. "Oh here he is." She said hugging him and kissing him. "Babe stop!" Alex whispered shouted at Grace. She just rolled her eyes at him and said, "Look at Andrea and Edward they are willing to kiss in front of me and you just." She demanded for a kiss but Alex just sighed.

"Oh hey come to the breakfast table!" I said smiling. "Yeah sure." Alex replied with a genuine smile. We walked towards our table when suddenly Grace sat down beside Edward. I coughed making her roll her eyes. "Umm Grace don't you think you should sit with Alex?" I asked politely. But you know what? I was burning inside, I swear if I could kill her right now, she would be bleeding dead on the floor.

"No!" She screamed getting angry. "I mean...Alex and you have just met go talk to each other." She smiled and then rolled her eyes at me. "Oh okay." I said and sat beside Alex. Grace leaned forward so that she was close to Edward 's neck. She whispered something on his neck and then smiled. Edward moved a little away and I bet the urge in the pit of his stomach told him to move.

Edward ate in silence as Grace looked at him maliciously. She was the predator and Edward the prey. He had already finished his food now. "I'll be back in a minute." He said excusing himself. All of a sudden Grace pipped in. "Hey, I'm going to the washroom in a second." She said and got up leaving for the washroom. I ate in silence and got up to pick Edwards plate and took it to the kitchen. I walked to the washroom to check what took so long for Edward and Grace to come. Are they....? Oh no!

I ran towards the washroom, only to find Edward pushed up on the wall and Grace trying to kiss him. Tears started to form inside my eyes when I started cry. Their attention turned towards me and Alex came running. Suddenly Grace left Edward and he was on his feet again. "What are you doing here Grace?" Alex asked. "Nothing." She replied getting out of the bathroom. I ran towards my room and locked myself. I started crying on the pillow.

A bang on the door made me stop crying. I looked who it was and it was Edward. I didn't open and kept on crying.

Thump Thump Thump...

I was crying like a little child, and my stubbornness told me not to open the door. But a bigger part of my body told me to open the door. I walked towards the wooden door and opened it. Edward rushed in and closed the door shut. He locked and took me to my bed and I sat on the edge. "It's not like what you saw!" Edward tried to explain. "So? Do you think I have poor eye sight?" I said sobbing. "No, listen to me okay?" Edward said resting his arm on my shoulder. He paused for a second and then continued. "Grace came in rushing, while I was washing my hands! Then she started pushing me towards the wall and tried to kiss me when you came and started crying." He explained. "You liar!" I said crying. "I'm not lying!" He said and continued. "You know I love you." He said smiling.

"I love you and only you! Even if the most beautiful girl on earth is dying for me. Because I love you. I love you and it's a matter of fact! Loving you is my right my legacy. I can't loose you even if the stars and moon shatter down because of the power of love I hold for you. The moon is jealous of you because I love you more than I did to it before. The stars are teasing me because I cried for a girl. And that in my mind isn't gay it's called love. You have made me feel whole even if you aren't around me. I miss you every time you are away from me. Even if you move away from me, and I have to make you happy I'll get you anything you want." He said pausing and taking a deep breath.

"I have always wanted a relationship which will never break for any reason. Love is based on trust, and you don't trust me there is no love too. I won't cry if you leave me. I would die if you left me. I don't love you because I need you. I need you because I love you. You are my life, and I can't leave you. You know the difference between infatuation?" He said smiling.

"Yes, infatuation and love are two different things. In infatuation, you die for getting that person. It's like they are your Destiny and you can't leave them. You won't care about their feeling, and you will force them to be infatuated by you the way you do. But love is something more than infatuation. Love has no boundaries. But it also knows and cares about the person who you love. Love is wonderful at first and then painful when it deepens. If you love the person with all your heart, you think about their future and not your present with them. Love holds a strong power to hold two hearts as one. And the strings that attach them aren't too high aren't too low, it's the right proportion in which it leads you to love. If you're love for a person is very high it is called infatuation but if the love is too low it's called liking not loving. But if the love is in the right balance it is called love. Love is wonderful, incredible, beautiful, amazing everything on earth that is good is described as love. But when love has its on perks you need to know its disadvantages too. It will cause you lot of pain and misery, it will cause the most unbearable pain, problems and the most hurt will be your heart. And I have felt it. But when you are around you heal me Edward. And love is what I feel for you." I said.

"I love you best friend." We mimicked together. "I love you."

And after finishing our sentence we ended up into a kiss. It was the satisfying kiss that made me feel happy. It was the most incredible kiss for me so far. And I know loving Edward will never lead me to regret because.
