Alex was raging in anger as well as sympathetic towards me. As cheesy and unrealistic and really frowning up thought this was I actually felt that Alex was a good guy after all he put me through. "Shh calm down." He said stroking my hair as I was pulled into his warm embrace.

Adam was still lying on the ground defeated, groaning and wiping his mouth from where blood rapidly dropped. I had finally stopped crying but I was still taking heavy breaths, hiccuping and sniffing- loudly.

Alex had shooed away Adam and was now sitting beside me, making me eat the soup he made.

The soup was warm and I was shivering, like I was thrown into a buttload of ice water. Alex scooted a little closer to me so he could actually make me sip a little more of the soup.

I was sitting on my cleaned bed, the bedsheets were changed but the only thing that haunted me was

I nearly got assaulted last night.

I shivered again, as the tears started to flood again, I felt miserable I wanted to run away and hide in a place. "Hey what's wrong?" Alex said in a soothing way, stroking my head lightly.

"You are asking me." I scoffed still crying. "Look I kicked his ass out and he is going to his mom now, so don't worry." Alex said seemingly.

"Thanks Alex." I sniffled, scooting closer to him as his warm embrace reached mine. "It's my pleasure." He said stroking my hair like a little child, but for some reason I actually fell asleep on him.

"Please..." I ignored once more. "Look tell me what happened yesterday! I'm worried now." Edward said anxiety painted all over his face.

"Fine!" I gave up after denying for the zillionth time. "I... Well I got umm assaulted last night?" My sentence came out more as a question as I looked down.

The memories again came flooding back into my head, making me shudder. The weird feeling was back, I felt unsafe at my own house.

I looked up to see what had happened in to Edward. When I saw his eyes, the blue sparkle had left. Dullness replaced the happiness. He was. . .

Scared?

"Edward?" I called him, I felt like I was sitting in front of a dead body. "Edward?" I called again he didn't even seem to budge.

He just sat there, staring down at a pillow beside me. "I'm-" Edward cut me off. "He... Touched you?" Edward asked still staring off in space.

I hesitated to answer, still thinking what might be his reaction, I didn't want him to worry or feel sad or worse feel scared like he was right now. But I had to answer him. "Yeah." I breathed out.

"He actually did what I had to do?" Edward asked tearing off his gaze from the pillow to meet my eyes. I looked at him shocked. He looked insecure and unsafe.

The warmth, the welcoming sparkle, the joy in his eyes everything thing was gone. Everything.

"N-no." I replied, he looked at me, a spark of hope glistens in his eyes. He leaned closer, engulfing me into an unexpected hug. I felt comfortable all of a sudden.

His scent was the normal one, which always made me feel relaxed. "Edward, I'm fine. Alex kicked Adam out." I said, shivering a little at the thought.

"He came to rescue you?" Edward had a frown, which made me confused. "Yup." I said, not popping the 'p'. A guilty look flashed on Edward's face making me feel unhappy too.

"It's fine." I shrugged causing him to stare again in space. Okay, why is he spacing out so often?

He looked at me for a second, I could see a tear at the corner of his eyes. "I'm sorry Andrea." He whispered. "I'm so so sorry." He repeated getting closer. I was still perplexed. Why is he apologising?
