Techno and I make our way into a far away town searching for supplies and food for us. Techno and I each took a hefty amount of silver and gold so that we would have enough to get the things we need. "Alright, you get fabrics and food, I'll get the building supplies. Also I'll see if they have any weapons or arrows." I nodded my head and he continued. "Alright then, well meet at the other end of town when we got everything alright?" I agreed and we parted ways gathering what we needed.

𝓣𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓢𝓴𝓲𝓹

I got everything I needed for the both of us before heading towards the other end of this little town. I see Techno when I made it to the end of town. He smiled a little bit when he spotted me. "Did you get everything?" He asked when I walked up to him. "Yes I did." I replied. "Good, one of the locals told me north from here is a forest with a large enough for what we want to do." He said excitedly before we headed towards the forest nearby.

As we are walking we are just chatting about little things before he pulled me down so we were hidden behind a fallen tree. "Why did you-" He cut me off by putting his hand over my mouth. "No apparently no bodies were found but his armor and her dagger. General Dream doesn't think they're dead, he thinks that the blood god and his queen are still alive. We need to find them so the general can finish the job." Someone said and my eyes went wide.

They are talking about Techno and I. I though to myself while Techno gave me a look that I wasn't quite sure what it meant. I think this is what disappointment looks like on him. "Yes, I want the bounty he is offering for them." Another said and I watched as Techno's expression changed. We watched as the two soldiers walked away and he waited until they were out of sight before he spoke up.

"I don't trust the clearing that villager told us about. I think we should head east and hope for the best. I also know some magic that could be of use to us when it comes to disguising ourselves." Techno explained before we changed our direction and started heading east from the village. We ran at first just incase anymore soldiers followed until we were in a forest. We were now walking around this forest until we found a clearing.

I saw my husband's eyes light up with a smile creeping up on his face. "This place is perfect, what do you think my queen?" He asked smiling at me. "I think we should get to work" I replied before Techno and I started building our new home. It was secluded enough from the rest of the world that we both felt safe. After a few hours we had the base of our house built and Techno wrapped one of his arms around my waist looking at the not even half build house with pride.

"Well who said a couple of royals couldn't survive outside the castle" He joked which made me laugh. I was surprised with his actions since he's never shown much emotion with me let alone a small bit of physical affection. "Well who ever said that is very wrong" I replied looking up at him for a second before I noticed it was nightfall. "Hey I'll take first watch since you did a lot more physical labor than I did" I suggested and he shook his head no.

"I'm alright you get some rest" He said removing his arm from around my waist. "Alright, I'll see you in a bit." I said walking away.

𝓣𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓢𝓴𝓲𝓹 𝓪 𝓯𝓮𝔀 𝓭𝓪𝔂𝓼

Techno finished the final bits of the roof and climbed down. He let out a happy sigh before making his way over to me. I was planting some carrots and potato's making a small garden to the right side of the house. "Well it's official, we have a home. I know I need to build us furniture but-" I cut him off by giving him a hug. At first he was stunned and didn't know what to do so he awkwardly patted my back.

"M-my apologies I didn't mean to do that" I stuttered with a blush on my face. "Um I'm going to look for some sweet berries so I can plant them too" I said before leaving him still standing in shock. Why did I have to do that. I can tell he isn't a fan of physical touch yet I still thought a hug would be fine. I argued with myself as I collected the sweet berries and their seeds. The past few days have been great for us.

We've been opening up more to each other and I've come to grow romantic feelings for him. I never thought I ever would and thought we would be platonic partners but of course that couldn't be the case. "Y/N, come on I would like to show you the inside of our house." Techno said and I flinched since I didn't notice him approach me. "Are you alright?" He asked when he saw my reaction. I nodded my head yes and followed him back to our home.

When he opened the door I smiled and exhaled excitedly. It was completely empty apart from the candle and torches that lit up the rooms. He excitedly showed me around and told me which room was what. "So this big room right here will be our room, this one over here is our bathroom, then this big space here will be our kitchen and lounge area." He explained with a smile never leaving his or my face.

"This is wonderful Techno, I'm so happy we did this." I smiled up at him, he looked at me for a second before pulling me in for a hug. I was confused since it didn't seem like he was too fond of them. "I'm sorry for being weird when you hugged me, I just wasn't expecting it." He explained as we hugged. Once he pulled away we began to draw up what we wanted the inside of our new home to look like.
