"Y/N wake up we need to go to town for a few things" Technoblade shook me awake. I slowly opened my eyes seeing him walking away from where I was resting. As I stood up I noticed him brewing something. "What are you brewing?" I asked looking at the cauldron as he took two bowls and filled them up with the mystery liquid. "It's some old seidr ( Old Norse word for magic) I learned from my mother." He stated before handing me a bowl.

"What will it do?" I questioned looking at the dark purple liquid. "It's a spell that will change our appearance so that we won't be attacked on sight. Have you finished those cloaks? Even with the spell I would feel more comfortable with a hood." He replied. "Yes, I finished them last night." I stated grabbing the black cloak for him and the dark blue one for me. Once we put them on he instructed me to drink. I watched him do it first and gasped when his face changed.

He looked unrecognizable and he chuckled at my shocked expression. "Well what are you waiting for, drink up" He commented and I did what I was told. "Did it work?" I asked and he laughed. "Yes it did, but I will say I prefer the way you looked before this seidr." He said and I couldn't help but blush. "Now come on let's go" He said before we started our decent to the town nearest to our forest.

"I am going to get the hardware, can you please get the fabrics we need for the furniture?" He asked and I nodded my head yes. "Oh um I think we could use with a couple horses, they will make things a lot easier." I suggested and he smiled. "You're right, can you go by the stables in town and get them as well?" He asked. "Of course" I agreed and we walked to the town in comfortable silence.

"Oh if you see any guards make sure you avoid them and if you can't make up a name. I can't risk you getting hurt." He said and I reached my hand out to touch his shoulder but I hesitated for a second before retracting my hand. I frowned a bit since I don't know what to do, I'm a person that likes physical contact so I usually don't think before giving someone that but in this case I know Techno is not a fan of it so I hesitated.

I saw him look at me for a second before clearing his throat. "So how do you like the house so far?" He asked as we neared the town. "I love it, I'll love it even more when it's furnished" I smiled up at him and we made it to the town. I walked over to the fabric shop owner and she smiled at me. "Hello welcome, let me know if you need any help" She greeted and I smiled back at her. As I made my way around the store when I noticed a piece of paper pinned to the wall.

When I looked at it closely and my face went pale. It was a wanted poster for Techno and I. "Excuse me miss, what is this all about?" I asked taking the paper off the wall. "Oh you haven't heard?" She questioned as I closely examined the paper. "Well King Technoblade and Queen Y/N committed treason then fled the kingdom. The queen's brother is now king and he wants them dead." She explained and I was in shock. "Really?" I questioned and she nodded her head yes.

"Wish I knew where they are, King Clay is offering fifty thousand silver for bringing the criminals to him alive." She added and I laughed with her. In my head I was freaking out a lot. Wait if my brother is king what happened to Techno's family? I questioned to myself before speaking up. "Um one more thing, if the queen's brother is now king what happened to the former king's family?" I asked.

"Well it was Prince Wilbur who was to be king before Prince Clay challenged him to a duel and Wilbur lost. Clay exiled them and they haven't been seen since." She explained and I frowned. After that conversation I quickly picked good fabrics before trying to track down Techno. I felt a hand on mine and jumped since they scared me. I turned around and saw the disguised face of my husband.

"Did you get everything?" He asked and I nodded my head. "W-we need to leave." I whispered and I saw him look at me confused. "We still need to buy horses." He said before we made our way to the stables. I kept this traumatized solemn look on my face as we walked in silence. "Where are you two coming up from?" The stable boy asked. "We come from the north, we lived in a small village and are newly wed looking to build our forever home."

Techno spoke and the guy smiled. "Well congratulations, all horses at half price and the lady can pick one free of cost." We thanked the man and I chose a beautiful black mare, Techno chose an amazing brown gelding. We gave the man the silver before we started heading back to our forest. "When we get home I need to share something important with you." I told him as we are making our way back home. "Alright, is everything okay?" He asked and I nearly broke down in tears.

He saw my facial expression and nodded his head. We continued our ride in silence, it took a few more minutes before we made it home. Techno let the horses graze around the fenced area of our house while I walked inside shaking at the thought of what my husband might do when I told him what I found out. "My queen what's the matter?" He questioned as he noticed my anxious demeaner.

"My brother exiled your family and he's now king. He is offering fifty thousand silver for us being brought to him alive." I spit out and I saw my husband's face fall. "I-I need to find my family, I'm going to look for them as soon as I finish the house." I nodded my head and he handed me some milk. "Here drink this, it will reverse the effects of the appearance spell." He said, I took a drink and so did he. I smiled at him when I saw the actual face of the man I married.

"See there is my queen's beautiful face." He said and we both blushed. "Forgive me, I didn't mean to say that out loud." He laughed feeling embarrassed. "I-it's alright, thank you for the kind words." I smiled still red. "W-well uh this bed isn't going to build itself." He joked quickly changing the subject grabbing his tools to build while I got my sewing supplies and started to sew sheets.
