Logan

The morning after our chance encounter, Gigi lingered in my thoughts like a melody I couldn't forget. Her image, her smile, her warmth – they all played on a loop in my mind, refusing to be ignored. There was an inexplicable pull, a magnetic attraction that drew me to her in a way I couldn't quite understand.

"Go downstairs Mom made breakfast," I heard my sister yell at me from the frame of my door.

Skye walked into the kitchen, her eyes sparkling with a mischievous grin as she spotted me. "Well, well, well, looks who's got that dreamy look on his face," she teased leaning against the counter with a smirk.

I chuckled nervously, trying to play it cool. "I have no idea what you're talking about," I replied, feigning innocence.

"Oh, come on Logan. I saw the way you were looking at her last night. It was like you were under some sort of spell," Skye teased, raising an eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes, unable to hide my smile. "Okay find. Maybe I'm a little smitten. But can you blame me? Gigi is incredible," I admitted, feeling a rush of warmth the thought of her.

Skye grinned knowingly. "Ah, young love. It's a beautiful thing," she said dramatically, earning a playful shove from me. "Cut it out, Skye. I barely know her," I protested, trying to downplay my feelings.

Skye raised her hands in mock surrender. "Hey, I'm just saying what I see. Besides it's cute. Just don't get too ahead of yourself, alright? Take it slow. This is the first time you have liked someone in a long time," she advised, her tone softening.

I nodded, appreciating her wisdom. "Yeah, I know. I'll take it one step at a time. But I can't help feeling excited about what could happen," I admitted, feeling a rush of optimism.

My older sister grinned, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, who knows? Maybe she'll turn out to be the one," she said, winking at me before sauntering out of the kitchen.

Determined to learn more about her, I reached out to Andy, hoping he could provide some insight. As the minutes ticked by, I found myself anxiously waiting for his response, my mind consumed by thoughts of Gigi.

Finally, Andy's message came through, and my heart raced as I eagerly read his words. "Her name's Gigi. She's one of my best friends," he wrote, followed by assurances that he would speak to her about meeting up again. Relief flooded through me at the prospect of seeing her once more.

"Where is Oliver?" I asked the room. No one else knew until five minutes later he walked into the locker room and behind him was Gigi. There she was, walking towards me with a smile that lit up the entire room. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of her, her presence filling me with a sense of joy I hadn't felt in a long time.

"Gigi," I greeted her, the word tumbling from my lips with a mixture of relief and excitement.

"Logan," she replied, her voice soft and warm. "I'm so glad we could meet again.

As we sat down and began to talk, I found myself drawn into her world, captivated by her stories and her laughter. It felt as though we had known each other for years, our conversation flowing effortlessly as we shared our hopes, dreams, and fears.

Hours passed in the blink of an eye, the outside world fading into the background as Gigi, and I lost ourselves in each other's company. There was a comfort in her presence, a sense of belonging that I had never experienced before.

As our meeting came to an end, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought of saying goodbye. But as we parted ways, a glimmer of hope remained – the hope that this was just the beginning of something beautiful, something that had the potential to change both of our lives forever.
