Gigi
Finally graduating from Vet School, I couldn't be prouder. Logan had told lots of the boys about my graduation, and a few decided to come to support me.
I chose a short black dress and white heels to match Logan's usual suit. As we walked out the door, I couldn't help but compliment him, "You look so handsome, baby." His reply was, "I dress up for what matters most." We had 10 minutes to get ready for family pictures.
"Okay, love, do you have everything you need?" Logan asked. I nodded as we kissed, heading out the door.
He let me pick the music, and we sang while holding hands. My anxiety was palpable, and Logan could tell. "Darling, what do you need from me? I can tell you are stressed; how can I help?" he asked. "That's so sweet of you, baby. I just need a distraction, I guess," I said. He talked about Liverpool playing in the Champions League Final, successfully diverting my thoughts, and bringing laughter back.
Arriving at the university for the ceremony, Logan parked, and we walked over to the supportive crowd. Family and friends took pictures, radiating happiness. We all sat down, and I secured 30 tickets for everyone who wanted to come. I couldn't believe the boys wanted to celebrate my achievement this much.
"Oh my god, boys! You are all here! I can't believe it!" I exclaimed to my best friends. "Of course, we are here, why wouldn't we be?" Alisson asked. "Gigi, you are part of your family, of course, we came," Andy said to me.
After hugging all of them, Logan suggested, "Now let's take pictures; we know you are dying for them." "I can't believe our little girl is graduating from Veterinarian School," Donnie said. Shannon replied, "I know, it's been her dream since she could walk." She smiled. "Logan, thank you for getting all of the boys to come to support." "I wish I could take the credit, but they all wanted to come when they heard months ago," he said, laughing. They reserved an entire section from their tickets.
Then we all saw me walking across the stage, and I got my diploma! Finally, a graduate! They all stood up and cheered when my name was called. Walking back to them, I couldn't wait to share my surprise. "Guys, I have an announcement," I said. "I am moving to Liverpool permanently. I found a clinic in need of a vet, and I got the job!" Everyone was so happy for me, eager for me to be around all the time. "This calls for a drink!" Andy said, hugging me, his best friend.
