Gigi

It was the day before Logan had to go home. He had to leave very early in the morning. He enjoyed the time he had spent up in Glasgow. The boy and his family have never really gone up to Glasgow. He knew he would be going up a lot more for several reasons. And of course, his best friend, Andy, wouldn't mind him coming up too.

On his last day he got the official tour. The family thought they should drive up to Oban to show him where Pop lived. It was a very special place to them all. Pop even told us that one day when he passes, he wants to be scattered on the beach there, so when they go to Oban he will always be there. And so that no matter where in the world we he is always with them.

They were driving through the hills and the boy completely enjoyed the view. Going through the valleys and through the hills made the boy fully at peace. Especially since he was with me. Logan desperately wanted to stop and take a picture and they did just that. There was a castle nearby and the boy picked me up, spinning me around. Little did they know Pop took a photo of us together.

We finally arrived at Oban and walked around on the beach and had the best time. They started running around and trying to tackle each other. It was a core memory for them all. I ran into the water, and it was freezing for the young boy who chased after me. I splashed him and immediately started sprinting away.

"Oh, baby you are gonna pay for that," Logan said with a cheeky smile.

"Oh, she's in deep shit," Dad said to Shannon.

"Yeah, he's as fast as her. He is going to catch up quite quickly," Shannon said laughing at me. Logan was gaining on me quite quickly. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"Ahhh Logan No! Put me down! It's freezing!!" I said trying to catch my breath.

"Then you should have thought of that before splashing me." He was laughing so hard he couldn't breathe. But he gave me mercy and set me down. He whispered to me,

"You are going to pay for that later though, don't you worry." He winked at me and kissed me on the cheek. They were driving back to Glasgow when Logan spoke up.

"I wish I didn't have to leave tomorrow. I wish I could stay longer."

"We all wish you could, son. It's hard watching you and Gigi miss each other so much. And especially because we miss you when you are gone as well. But you need to win us the league," Dad said to Logan with a joking voice. He was only partially joking. But he was also reassuring the boy that they cared very much for him.

"Baby we will see each other soon. I am coming back for the family game soon. And remember the next time you bring me flowers or drive up here let's not have a fight before." I said laughing trying to lighten the mood.

"Don't worry I will be doing that more. You deserve it." He said with a happy smile.

They were driving for a while until they finally got to Glasgow. And Nanny asked Dad, who was driving,

"Love where are we going?"

"It's a surprise for Logan." He said with a pretty serious face.

"Oh, wow he gets the official surprise?" I asked her dad. "Yes, he does."

They drove for about 15 minutes and arrived at a big, long building. Logan had no idea where they were because he has never been to Glasgow before. They drove into an underground parking lot and got out of the car. Someone came and took the car for Donnie.

"Donnie!! How have you been mate?" A familiar face to all except Logan, "I have been well Paul! How have you been?"

"I am doing great. Enjoy!" Paul handed them passes, and Dad held onto Logan's pass. The boy was confused why, but he didn't question it. They kept walking until they hit a field. Steven Gerrard walked out. Logan finally realized where they were. Stevie walked to them and gave them all giant hugs, even Logan.

"My brother," Donnie gave a big hug to Stevie, "thank you for doing this."

"Of course. Anything for family," Stevie said hugging Donnie back.

He hugged Nanny and Pop and told them he loved them. Then he hugged Shannon; they had very much a Shawn and Topanga relationship. Which they have always had since they were young. Then he turned to his niece.

"Uncle Stevie!"

"Hello love! How has my wonderful niece been."

"I have been a lot better since we last talked." I said giving him a giant hug.

"Good, that means I don't have to beat up my favorite right back." He said winking at Logan. "Only joking, I would only scream at you. And probably get Andy to tackle you in practice."

"Don't worry Steven. I won't be making that stupid mistake again."

"Good, good Logan. I know we both love her very much. And please call me Uncle Stevie or Stevie." He gave the boy a big hug.

"Logan. You have become such an important part of our lives I wanted to bring you to where it all started. This is where I played for Rangers Academy until I got signed to Liverpool. This is where I learned everything and where I met Shannon. And where my 'brother,' Stevie G works. Welcome to the family Logan. We love and care about you so much. Thank you for being in our lives."
